  • Very comfortable for my arthritic hand.
Color: Multicolor Size: (Pokemon: Pikachu & Eevee) Pattern Name: Controller
These work well and are very comfortable for my hand. I have arthritis and the origional controllers really hurt my hand. I bought an off brand pair for 30 and they worked a little better but still hurt my hands. Then I bought this pair and they are super comfortable and my hand isn't hurting if I play for a long time. I will say these are heavier and it makes it feel awkward at first but I got used to them very quickly. ... show more

  • Adorable AND functional!
Color: Multicolor Size: (Pokemon: Pikachu & Eevee) Pattern Name: Controller
My husband actually bought these as a surprise since my there joycons were giving me a ton of trouble. He wanted to find something larger to be more comfortable in my hands and something that has better joysticks. So not only is the design on this absolutely adorable, they’ve been working extremely well for me thus far and I’ve used them avidly for about a month now! Plus I’ve gotten many compliments on them too🥹 If anything changes I will update my review but for now I have nothing bad to say about them at all. 10/10 recommend! ... show more

  • These controllers are a Game Changer
Color: Multicolor Size: (Pokemon: Pikachu & Eevee) Pattern Name: Controller
I bought this for a friend of mine since I got the same one and mini controller from urban outfitters. This controller is amazing it is a “game changer” the level of comfort is like no other and it’s breath for games that do not require Motion sense. So animal crossing, Pokémon, story of seasons, yoshi crafted world, lego games, and so many more. I will say this about Mario kart with this controller. It’s easier played. I play a lot in handheld mode. The size of this controller make your switch look bigger I had to take my back case off of my switch to use this controller because it needs to be nearly flesh with the back of the switch. The buttons are clicky and they are much bigger than than the ones on the traditional joycons. The thumb sticks on this controller is really nice. They have a nice grip texture and they are so much bigger than the traditional joycons. I would not recommend buying these because your joycons are broken some games like story of seasons friends of mineral town will not give me the option to start the game while using these controllers. I have to use my joy cons to get the game to start and then start using these controllers once I’m past the loading screen. This is the only game that this has happened with but that’s perfectly find with me. ... show more

  • Use it each day.
Color: Multicolor Size: (Pokemon: Pikachu & Eevee) Pattern Name: Controller
Pro: awesome grip, full size with better layout, extra buttons, and does not cause any delays with movements. Cons: no vibration or movement sensors, and the biggest con is that the controllers have to stay on the Switch because they have no batteries and Bluetooth. This means you cannot remotely play. ... show more

  • Very good but could have been better!
Color: Multicolor Size: (Pokemon: Pikachu & Eevee) Pattern Name: Controller
1. Aesthetics This is a mixed bag. When attached to the switch these look like a controller was cut in half and stuck onto the switch. It would look vastly better if they had made the controller face flush with the tablet screen. As it is, the tablet is slightly recessed so it doesn't look as clean. I've owned both the "black" and the Pikachu and Eevee versions. The black version is opaque black on the back half of the shell and the front half is translucent similar to the official pro controller. I'm not a fan of translucent plastic and some listings I've seen just call this version black, so it's worth noting. The Pikachu and Eevee version looks just as good in person as it does in pictures. The artwork is high quality and the colors are nice and vibrant. If you are a fan of Pokemon and/or the color scheme it is very nice. 2. Ergonomics The whole point of this controller is to give a full sized controller experience for handheld mode. It largely succeeds at this. Control placement and button size are very similar to the official pro controller. The grip takes some getting used to. As large as it is, it still feels a little small in the hands. I don't use the programmable back buttons so having them there feels a little awkward at first. The thumbsticks have a lot of travel and resistance similar to the official pro controller. The thumbstick caps are fairly large, smooth and concave. I have large thumbs and am used to hooking them slightly over the edges of thumbsticks for extra leverage. Doing this is not really as practical with the large caps these have. However, I replaced the thumbsticks with ones for the pro controller (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088T5TVTW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I feel it makes a big improvement. Now if you are used to the pro controller for TV play you have just about the same feel in handheld. 3. Buttons ALL of the buttons on this controller (and d-pad) are the classic rubber membrane type. This is a huge plus for me. I am used to decades of playing with controllers of that style and the small clicky tactile switches on the joy cons never felt good to me. The main buttons feel very similar in size and feel to the official pro controller. The + - home and screenshot buttons are rubber as opposed to the tactile buttons on the pro controller so those are a different look and feel. 4. D-Pad It is quite nice. It's snappy, doesn't require too much force, isn't mushy and accurately registers presses. I've been playing a lot of the Contra collection lately and I finally don't feel like I'm fighting the d-pad. Being able to hit diagonals and quickly duck without accidentally registering a diagonal are essential for Contra and easy to do with this d-pad. I also own the Hori left D-pad joycon and that one feels slightly mushier and not quite as good. The official pro controller's d-pad has a big problem with false inputs if you don't cover half the contacts with (preferably kapton) tape. The switch lite's d-pad has trouble registering diagonals without applying excessive force. Overall it's a breath of fresh air to have a d-pad just work well since that's apparently hard to find these days. 5. Other notes These have no rumble, no gyro, no bluetooth, no IR, and no NFC. The lack of features makes me feel that these are overpriced for what you're getting. This should be a $35 controller. I've seen the plain colored ones listed for ~$40 which is OK. The $60 MSRP for the two Pokemon versions is clearly a markup for the fancy artwork so you'll have to decide if it's worth the extra money. I found my Pikachu and Eevee for $55. Also of note, the switch does fit in the dock with these attached. As a bonus, they work just fine in Switchroot Android 10. ... show more

  • Greatly Improves Handheld Gameplay
Color: Multicolor Size: (Pokemon: Pikachu & Eevee) Pattern Name: Controller
As someone who generally prefers to play the Switch docked with a Pro controller, I decided to give this product a try for times when I'm away from the TV and it does exactly what it says it will: provide the experience of a Pro controller in handheld mode. This controller works and feels great and as a Pokémon fan I really love the adorable Pikachu and Eevee design. It's super quick and easy to set up and it also still fits while the console is docked. It is missing a few features that the regular Pro controller has but I knew that before purchasing so I'm perfectly happy with it. If the joycons aren't working for you and/or you prefer a more traditional controller, then I highly recommend this! ... show more

  • Amazing
Color: Multicolor Size: (Pokemon: Pikachu & Eevee) Pattern Name: Controller
I love these controllers. The normal joy cons always cause issues for me. They're too small and make my hands cramp. These are super comfortable and do not driff. Ive had mine for quite some time now and have had no issues. Worth the purchase. They do NOT hold their own charge and need to be connected to the switch to work. That's the only "bad" thing ... show more

  • Best controller I've bought
Color: Multicolor Size: (Pokemon: Pikachu & Eevee) Pattern Name: Controller
So much more comfortable than the normal joy cons. Only downside is that there is no motion controls. Perfect for games like animal crossing in handheld mode. Added bonus of being adorable.
