I purchased this after trying out several Gearbox paddles with their program to try before you buy. This plays a lot different than a honeycomb core paddle, but that is also why it is so durable. It took some getting used too around the kitchen line, but like anything, you figure it out. I have seen many honeycomb paddles break right at the handles. This paddle will not break like that.
