I don't get it with this thing. First, straight out of the box, I had no idea what to do with it. I couldn't find a way to make it open or move. I just kept at it until I was about to twist an area. It's made of hard plastic and it's very hard to maneuver. And my fingers get caught in the gears, which are pointy and hurt by the way. I'm a fidgety person so I welcome anything I can play with with my hands. This is neat but I'm not gonna play with it at length cause it hurts my fingers and is hard to move. I can't recommend this. Maybe if it came made out of a different material? Or had a way to manipulate it that wasn't so difficult? Or made some clicky sounds? I don't know. This just doesn't work for me. It's just cool looking

The media could not be loaded. This cute little fidget gear toy is so much fun. My grandaughter loves to spin it and change the shapes. Fidget toys are my favorite and I love the color of this one.

Some will find this toy fun, some will find it frustrating. Overall I find it fun, but there are parts that are frustrating for me. I had thought that this had pieces that slid. It's actually a set of gears that you rotate (in a sliding motion) to achieve a variety of designs - or simply keep pressing the gears in motion. The motion part is where I run into the frustration. The gears get close to a point and then my hands have a tough time getting them to move further. Once I get past that point, it's smooth again until gears once again are really close. I'm hoping that I will get more used to the toy and be able to move the gears more smoothly all of the time. It has been on my work desk for only a couple of days, but has gotten a decent workout in that time. Lol
