I love this book shelf for many reasons! It’s fun for baby to spin, easy for my to spin around and grab different books while sitting in the rocking chair with baby, perfect height for setting things on top. Baby loves to pull the books out and spin it around. It was very easy to build. It holds a lot of books. The wood is a glossy wood so definitely can’t paint over it which I was wondering when I first ordered it. It comes with a round lace cover for the top of it but I didn’t use it. There are screw tops coming out the top but it’s not a big deal. I don’t even notice them with all the things I normally put on it. It makes for a good prop to put my phone on if I watch something while feeding baby actually ! ... show more

    • Shipped an Unfinished top piece to me

I really wanted to like this and I did but I purchased the 2-tier model and the last piece, the piece that would be the tabletop was unfinished. It had additional holes in it to receive a 3rd tier, also the screws and screw heads showed through, who wants that?! To compensate, instead of sending a finished piece for the table top, the manufacturer sent a plastic doily. If I placed a glass on it, it would inevitably land on one of the exposed screwheads and the glass would be tilted and unlevel. Plus, the doily was ugly. However, it held a lot of books and the rotating base seemed to work well. I did like it except for the goofy unfinished top piece. I contacted Amazon and they offered me a refund so I did send it back. I am ordering another one, this time it will be one-tiered. If they show a finished top piece in their photos,you expect to receive the same thing when you purchase it. I will give them one more chance, if i get another item with yet an unfinished top piece, I will send it back and keep searching for what I want. Other than that issue, the item seemed to be sturdy and well-designed, also it is compressed wood with a wood veneer but it is nice. ... show more

Pieces fit together well and the tool is handy, making it easy to assemble. I got confused adding final top disc, just keep at it, flip, rotate, you’ll eventually line it up. Follow the instructions, which I found a tad confusing . Install “E” plate starting from the top shelf working down. I had to grab my Allen wrench to fit the space because I started installing on the bottom shelf, working my way up. Even though I put it together in the wrong order it was still easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I’m really happy with it. Like other reviewers mentioned, the discs have a thin clear coat but edges do not. Something I learned after I read more reviews before I assembled it. I’m not bothered by this. I am very disappointed in this product! Directions are not clear, the bottom shelf comes attached to rotating platform, there is no way to attach next level to bottom shelf. The top is not finished, you can see screws and dowels and they give you an ugly placemat to cover!

WOWOWOWOW I LOVE THIS THING??? I’ve had her in my wishlist for years now and finally got around to buying her and IM SO HAPPY I DID :D she was SO EASY to build! I had no problem doing so even tho I’m not usually very good at that type thing. It also came with gloves, a doily, and screw driver??? I’ve NEVER had a piece of furniture come with all that :0 She’s also so beautiful!!! Fits a ton of books and the shelves are tall enough to fit large comics and art anthology books as well! I love this little bookcase and wish I could put one in every room. The natural wood finish is very appealing to me and goes well with anything. It provides plenty of accessible storage (I'm using mine for sketchbooks) and is quite sturdy. I also found it fun to assemble. Highly recommended!

Let me first say that I really like this book shelf so much. It’s beyond sturdy, very easy to assemble, and does a great job holding the books and spinning around. The challenge is that it’s listed as “made of Thickened Pine Wood. The surface is smooth, does not hurt your hands, is easy to clean. It maintains its natural color. ” If you look at the images I included, this bookshelf comes with gloves and sandpaper. None of the wood is finished, and none of the edges are even broken. They’re sharp and splintered! The key that comes to help assemble is fantastic, and everything is predrilled, making it very fast to put together. But the sanding and finishing required to make it look nice are not what I expected. The top is also quite ugly. I removed the legs and placed the unit under a desk, so it matters not in my current setup, but I’d be disappointed if the top had to be visible. So, this is an excellent DIY kit. It is not, however, a well-executed flat-pack assembly-required piece of furniture. ... show more
