This is my second juicer. The first was a very bulky thing, BUT the chute was much larger so you could put in whole fruit and veggies. This one is tiny. For reference, the limes in the pictures are small limes, and once peeled, I was able to squeeze them into the chute whole. The peeling was a very tedious process for limes. The juice was excellent, with just enough pulp to feel like homemade juice without being obtrusive. The byproducts were loglike (which amused the children) and not quite as dry as I expected. I had the feeling I could have gotten a bit more juice out of these limes if I'd really wanted to, but at the end of the day, it's definitely more efficient than pressing my own limes by hand, so I'll give this juicer a win. Cleaning wasn't too bad; disassembly a little tricky but not indecipherable. All in all, I'm pleased with this juicer and look forward to using it more often. I'm curious how it will do with harder vegetables.

I've had a few juicers before, but this is my first time trying a cold press, slow masticating juicer. I'd read up on them and decided to try it out! The first thing I noticed was that, even though there was some noise (of course), it was significantly less noise than my old centrifugal juicer. The design is sleek and modern and I've already been asked, "Umm...what IS that???", and that's when I go all spokesperson and explain that it's, in fact, a juicer, LOL. Jokes aside, I am quite satisfied with this juicer. As the research suggests, this juicer yields more juice than you would get from a centrifugal juicer. Like many others, I am interested in juicing, primarily, for it's health benefits. This juicer has not only proved to retain more juice, but also more nutrients (maybe I'm imagining things, but I can TASTE the difference). Though this juicer requires smaller pieces of food, this is absolutely NO issue for me! In that pic, you will see a small bit of juice I made from spinach, kale, carrots, plums, and fresh ginger root. That juice was so concentrated, I had to add a bit of water to it! I was extremely impressed! You get PURE juice, maximum nutrients, and the juice lasts MUCH longer - and that's the whole point, right? And yes, there are 3 or 4 parts to wash, but they are so EASY to wash/rinse! Only time will tell if this juicer lasts, but I'll tell you this - with my old centrifugal juicers, their juice didn't last that long, and the lifespan of the machine was frustratingly finite. THIS is my juicer from now on!

I have had a few juicers over the years and they say the mastication technique is the best for not oxidizing the food while making the juice so I have begun to lean towards these. As the juice lady says, “the best juicer is the one you use.” I have found this juicer (GDOR Cold Press Juicer with High Juice) to be basically everything they say in the ad except one thing. Here is my description: It is lightweight, easy to assemble, easy to use, easy to clean. The only part that I see as an issue is the pulp comes out wetter than I think it should. As I said I have had other juicers and the pulp was much dryer when using them. So I would not likely recommend for someone who is juicing for a recovery health reason but would recommend for someone who is in the preventative stages of just juicing as a healthy lifestyle. Especially if you are like me and find use for the pulp easily. And here is one of the very best things. It is modern designed and fits well and looks good on my countertop with all the parts assembled (even the cups which go on the top) for the next juicing! This makes its usability go up way -way up the ladder because it is not bulky with a million pieces stuffed in a cupboard where it will never get used.

This juicer gets every possible drop. I was impressed with how little moisture was left in the pulp. I juiced 1 pink pineapple and it was a pretty straightforward process. There are simple directions for setting it up, then you just feed the fruit into a tube to be mashed. There are basically 2 sections that make up the juicer, the motor and the masher. The food only touches the mashing section, which detaches from the motor for easy cleanup. The juicer is very solidly made and the plastic seems good quality. While the juicer is not quiet, it's also not much louder than a box fan. The juice tasted great and the pulp can be used to make fruit butter or fruit leather. I'm glad I have this in my kitchen.

2 stars on a product is not good, and I try to find any redeeming quality to rate products as high as I can. But this is just a big miss. This is the third juicer I have ordered and I am convinced at this point, if you want something that is going to even remotely work, you are going to have to spend well over the $200.00 mark. The first two were centrifugal juicers, and that is a complete waste of time. I gave up on those and decided on a cold press juicer, which is better technology, but this one is nearly non-functional. Don't get me wrong, it is well made and the pieces are all really solid and fit together nicely. When I opened the box I was excited, thinking that finally I have a juicer that will meet my expectations. Unfortunately, no. Although it is really well made, it is designed terribly. It just doesn't work. The chute is so small you have to cut apples into 8ths just to get them to fit. After about 1 1/2 apples, it clogged and had to be completely disassembled because sludge was coming out of the chute. Worse yet, the "juice" that did make it out of the bottom was more like apple sauce. I haven't even tried citrus yet. This is because I know how this is going to work. I will take 20 minutes peeling oranges, separating them into little wedges, just to have the juice filled with so much pulp that it is undrinkable. I put all the parts into the dishwasher just to have all the sticker arrows indicating how to put it together come off. I give up. My recommendation is to spend as much money on a juicer as you can, otherwise it is just a huge waste of time.
