Boy, was I surprised!
Color: Tan
Style: Acoustic
Pattern Name: Bag
This Gator gig bag is far beyond what I expected! The material it is made with is a very high quality fabric, very much like 1000 weight Cordura, and it isn't a solid color, but kind of an old school faintly textured tweed. The zipper pulls are also high quality and very vintage looking. I usually replace zipper pulls with paracord, because the pulls are usually cheap and clank around, but these pulls are surely staying right where they are! My Martin X series fits perfectly without the extra foam pieces that are included for smaller guitars. But the most surprising part was that there were some free gifts inside the bag! As you can see in the picture, two children's books and a Teddy bear with "Santa Barbara Surf Shop" on his hoodie! So nice! The only negative is that the picture on Amazon showed the gig bag with removable straps, which I wanted, but the bag I got had non-removable straps, probably an earlier version. But on the whole, very high quality and somewhat weighty, with nice thick foam which holds it shape even without a guitar in it. And it came in a cardboard box with plenty of air pillow shipping thingies, so much better than a previous Chroma Cast piece of junk gig bag that came shrink wrapped in plastic the size of a basketball. I never even used it or even bothered to send it back. It wasn't worth it for the $28 it cost. This Gator bag is so worth the price! Wish I had bought it first...

A useful, well made, full featured soft case.
Color: Tan
Style: Acoustic
Pattern Name: Bag
Good guitars deserve good cases, and that generally means a well built hard shell case. (Gator, the makers of this soft case, also make a range of hard shell cases- I keep my Loar LH-350 in. Gator hardshell case). Soft cases and bags are usually a budget alternative for less expensive guitars, as they don't provide the same protection against dents and crushing that a good hard shell case does. A good hard shell case can be had for not much more than what this soft case sells for, so why would you buy a soft case? There are times when you don't need the heavy duty protection of a $125-250 hard shell case, but when you are concerned with weight, cost, portability, and comfort, and still want to provide better protection than the usual $50 bag can provide. This soft Gator case has thick, stiff padding, an abrasion resistant outer covering, plenty of pockets for music, strings, picks, cords, and other accessories, and straps for carrying it backpack style. Inside are three movable, Velcro-secured pads that allow you to customize the fit to various sized guitars. It's a good case for transporting guitars by car on the way to a jam or gig where you're not worried about it being damaged under a stack of other guitars, drums, and amplifiers. The soft outside and padding mean that it won't damage furniture, so it's a good bag for storing guitars at home. Like a lot of guitarists I often have more guitars than cases, and this case is a good addition to my collection. I think I'll use it for my 1970s Guid D-35 (see photos), currently living in a beat-up 40 year old hard shell case.

Not quite a "case," but a lot more than a gig bag.
Color: Charcoal
Style: Electric
Pattern Name: Bag
This bag is tough and solid. It's well made and has plenty of storage. My strat fits perfectly and the lining inside the case is plush and classy. I love how you can tuck the straps away when you don't need them. Definitely worth the price. I'll probably order another one for my tele.

Excellent gig bag
Color: Charcoal
Style: Electric
Pattern Name: Bag
Very good gig bag, I am very satisfied with the case, good size for a LTD M200 and a LTD EC1000. The zips feel secure and sturdy. It's not very heavy, and it feels rigid, padded and very soft interior

sturdy and at a good price. This is a great value.
Color: Charcoal
Style: Electric
Pattern Name: Bag
This is a very nice gig bag. The fabric is of a thick type of polyester and is visually appealing. It has some structure so it doesn’t flop over. The handle is sewn and riveted into the body. The padding is dense. The zippers pulls are of good quality. The front pocket is roomy. I particularly like that the shoulder straps hide away. The interior has a soft red lining and there is removable cushions for the bottom and the head stock. I appreciate the extra cushions because I have a Les Paul style PRS which has a shorter scale. What makes it less than 5 stars for me is the neck support needs to be a little taller to float the headstock off the bottom of the case. I used a couple of micro fiber cloths to raised the headstock. The front pocket although roomy offers no organization. However, all the pluses and the very reasonable price makes this an excellent gig bag for storage at home and easy trips. I would not use it for air travel if I had to check my guitar.

Really Nice Gig Bag for a Tenor Ukulele
Color: Tan
Style: Tenor Ukulele
Pattern Name: Bag
The Gator Transit Case for Tenor Ukulele is handsome (better looking than the pictures) and appears well made. It features luggage grade tan exterior, dense padding, plush red cloth interior, removable neck support, comfy padded handle, hideaway backpack straps and two exterior stash pockets. Pockets are on the small side, just barely large enough for a strap, set of strings and a 10 foot cable. The thick padding makes this bag nearly as protective as a polyfoam hard case but with less bulk. The lower bout “bumper” is grippy, wipes clean and keeps the cloth exterior off the ground when you set it down. Plus, after an hour in my car trunk on a sunny day, this case is still cool inside from my office AC. My Kala Doghair tenor fits very snug length-wise but with enough room along the side to leave a strap installed. I can also leave a D'Addario NS Micro tuner installed, albeit it's tight against the end of the case. A larger protruding tuner will need to be detached. I find the straps and handle comfy and am impressed that Gator used metal hardware on zippers and straps. The strap clips are spring loaded and extra stiff, so they won’t easily detach. I'm a working musician and drag two or more instruments across town daily, so I'm a fan of lightweight gig bags. And the Transit hits the sweet spot for me: good looking, well made, lightweight and an easy carry.
