I was waiting to do this review till I see how it was. I've had it on for around 4 months now and havnt had the first problem yet. Truck runs perfect. I bought this 2000 Toyota Tundra 5 months ago and the guy had already paid 1500$ have all this replaced and some AC work done. After I bought the truck it started a small miss fire. No check engine light or anything. I bought plugs and wires and that didnt change it. Finally it got so bad that wouldn't climb a hill. I took it to my dad's garage and last pulled the cam pulley covers off and rolled engine over to put it in time. The left bank had jumped time by 4 teeth. I didnt know what possibly couldve caused it. I ordered this kit and disassembled it all found had antifreeze dripping on the belt. Thermostat housing was broke so got another for about 100$ then put it all back together and havnt had anymore problems. This is a good kit and do recommend ... show more

Well it's hard to say how well this product will hold up since I've only gone about 2,000 miles on it. The product appears to be of quality. The tensioner that comes with the kit did seem a little cheap though good tension though serves its purpose the metal and plastic seems a bit inferior to oem. Pulleys are as good as factory, belt seems to be as good or close to factory. The water pump hard to say hasn't leaked yet. I wouldn't say the pumps quite as good as factory when you compare the two (plastic and metal seem a bit inferior to quality of factory one) it seems a bit less in quality but i do feel it will be fine and hold up. The water-pump gasket that came with the kit seems to be of quality no leaks just i would have liked it packaged (cardboard backing) instead of just thrown on top mine got a little squished and had to bend it a little bit. Overall i feel this product will hold up and for only 130 bucks can't beat it, better than spending 2k for Toyota to do it. Make sure you do your research before doing this task many special tools and hrs required for this job. ... show more

Perfect fit for the Sequoia, didn't include a thermostat so be prepared to buy that separately. Little disappointed it didn't come with a Gates Decal for my tool box and/or air tank Been running great, recently started pulling a camper and have had no issues so far.🙏🏼

Kits seems ok.. But Def use high end silicone sealant even on water pump gasket (or get OEM gaskets and O rings)..Its a big job and doing it twice due to water leaks was not my idea of time well spent. ..

This kit comes with ALL the parts to do the timing belt change right......assuming your cam seals and crank shaft seal are not leaking.....which is the case most of the time. You'll still need to purchase some coolant and the seals as needed if needed. Those are usually a stocking item at local parts stores. ... show more

If you are purchasing this kit for a Toyota vehicle I would not recommend. I have used Gates belts and hoses for many years with great confidence so without hesitation I went with the Gates. The kit contained quality parts (tensioner, pulley, belt) except for the water pump. The pump is by far substandard to the OEM. The housing is thinner and the metal used in the manufacturing process seems less quality when using a simple tap test. I used some parts from the kit but decided not to install the pump from the kit. I purchased an OEM kit instead. ... show more
