    • Tight fit, because it is 2mm too small
You probably want to get the 040350 belt, which is 2-3mm larger. That is the belt that came off of my 2002 Miata. I still was able to get this K040347 belt installed, but it was a tight fit. With this smaller belt I had to loosen the alternator bolt to allow it to pivot more and it was extremely difficult to access/break loose. the normal sized belt would probably be able to be installed with just the 3 tensioner bolts accessibly from the front-top of the alternator. ... show more

    • Belt replacement went well but tightening... a little more difficult.
Ordered belt came in as expected. Viewed installation process on Utube and had issues with getting the belt tight enough to stop the squealing. Will try again when can get the car back in. Belt was not the issue, I was. Difficult to find a pry point which will not damage the pump.

Update- 4-26-20-I finally installed this about a week ago & it went on easy enough and seems to be doing its job. Haven't even installed it yet as I just replaced the radiator, hoses and thermostat, but I received it and believe it will be durable. If not, I'll comment on it again. The reason I believe it will be durable is that I have the same exact belt on my Camry now and it was installed in 2011(8 years ago and about 70,000 miles ago). ... show more

    • Fits 94 Miata. Consider a tension gauge.
Contra the previous review, this does fit a 94 Miata. I installed on mine as part of the timing belt service. Make sure the tension adjustment is all the way out, and you may need to pry it on (I only have to do this with the AC/PS belt however). Recommend buying a Gates 91107 "Krikit" gauge as Miatas can be sensitive to having the right belt tension. It should be 95-110 on the gauge for AC/PS belt and 110-158 for the alternator belt. ... show more
