Have about 750 miles on this belt on a Commander 1000 XT riding in the high desert and mesas of NW Colorado. My stock belt used to squeal and smoke a bit on hard pulls and in rocky sections, this belt has not had any problems handling the desert heat or long, heavy loaded pulls from the desert floor to 10,000 feet (and my rig is loaded down with equipt and hunting stuff). I bought this belt because I don't like working on my UTV when I could be shooting, the fact that it is half the price of the OEM belt is icing on the cake!! I have about 1500 miles on this belt now and I just pulled my clutch apart to service my one way bearing. This belt still looks like new and is definitely performing as advertised. Look closely through the listing before you buy the belt. If you notice despite the fact that people say it will fit 1000cc Can-Am gates does not recommend this on any vehicle above 800cc. I think this would be a good belt but I cannot handle the power of 1000cc motor. Look through the reviews and you’ll see everybody is having problems because they’re putting it on 1000cc motors ... show more
