These Gateron Optical switches are great. Replaced an entire optical keyboard with them. These are a sure upgrade from KALIH brand.

    • Very light actuation force. Satisfied with seller and product.
Overall satisfied with the product and seller. Came just as described. It arrived in a small plastic case along with a switch puller. Please note, they have a lighter force than the identical pcb switches. Sometimes just resting my hands on the keys will activate them. This may be resolved with abs key caps since they put less force on the switch. I believe the red switches have a higher force which I would have preferred but these are great for fast reaction time. ... show more

I didn't really notice any different sounds from this compared to the black switches, but I love the little bump at the very end of the switch travel.

    • Unlike normal Gateron opticals, these have extra tabs that make swapping out extremely difficult.
Say you plug these in and don't like them. Now you're stuck because these have tabs on all 4 sides, unlike the normal Gateron opticals which have tabs on only 2 sides. Most removal tools are for the 2-tab version. Please look closely at the pictures to see what I mean.
