The fact that the box had all of the required screws and wrenches made it very easy for me to install the casters to the gate frame that I already had. I believe that the incorporation of these tools is a considerate feature since it removes the need to acquire separate gear and guarantees that the installation can be finished without any extra bother. Even though I have just a limited amount of expertise with do-it-yourself projects, the directions that were supplied were straightforward to understand and follow. The remarkable capacity of these casters, which is 600 pounds, is one of the most notable qualities of these casters. I was originally worried about whether or not the casters could withstand the weight of my gate without affecting their stability or performance. My gate is one of the heavier gates in my collection. On the other hand, having used them on a regular basis for a number of weeks, I am confident in their longevity and strength. The casters' sturdy design provides me with a sense of calm, as I am aware that they are able to support the weight without exhibiting any symptoms of wear or strain. I had a new gate installed in my place it is an RV access gate so you have an idea that it is wider than just a pedestrian walk through gate. The gate was very very heavy, the installer said it should be fine and I wouldn’t have sagging issues. Well not true, the gate eventually sagged after 9 months, it is make with very heavy gauge metal. I looked for wheels everywhere and the usual suspect stores like Home Depot, Lowes and other local hardware stores only have wheels that support 150 lbs or 68 kg give or take 50 lbs or 23 kg, some stores had wheels that would support heavier weight but not by much. I found this wheel online and was so excited to see a heavy duty wheel. I had my maintenance guy install, we used a jack to level the fence properly, installed the wheel and I am so so so happy, my gate now functions perfectly-I got the wheel with the break, highly recommend you get a break for yours unless you see absolutely no need for one. This wheel has held up, no signs or issues of failure my opens and closes there is a side gate door and it has stayed level and true, my side gate opens and latches with no problem. I purchased a wheel that would support more the. The gate weighs - some folks will purchase a product that just meets the standard of whatever they’re gate may weigh but I recommend going above that to ensure stability and longevity- I have learned over the years that “overkill” in some situations does the trick, and besides I don’t want to have to replace this wheel in 5 years, I want it to last much longer and as it stands this product appears that it will. Hope this helps anyone trying to decide if it’s worth the price, in my opinion it most definitely is.

Do not use this if you're installing a heavy gate. According to product information, my gate is about 250lbs lighter than the load rating on this wheel and it was bending out alignment. I think it looks nice and under light loads it would work great, but it's not for heavy duty application.

I need a strong wheel that could work on an uneven surface, & these wheels did the job perfectly. I showed them to the fabricator that built the gate, & he said that he could not make the same set up for what I paid for them so I feel like I got great value for my money.
