The media could not be loaded. Years ago I created a product selling on Amazon which allows you to make restaurant quality chicken wings from home. I show full cooking methods including air frying, oil frying & turkey frying. After starting with the air & oil frying methods (using the smaller residential appliances) I quickly discovered I needed to find a much bigger cooking solution since my family absolutely inhales the wings. I decided to get a turkey fryer (even though I had never used one). I bought this GasOne turkey fryer which included everything I wanted, including the larger steam basket. This has been an extremely reliable product and has never given me any issues whatsoever. I've used this turkey fryer over 120 times so far...literally, almost every single weekend. After about 20 uses, I decided to upgrade my pot to one with a spout so I could easily drain and save the oil without having to pour everything into a funnel which continually clogged. I also eventually upgraded the 5 PSI regulator to a 20 PSI regulator so I could make about 100 wings per batch without any oil temperature issues. If you need a turkey fryer, this is a great option at a reasonable price. I've not found a full turkey fryer set that included a pot with a spout and a 20+ PSI regulator, so start with this option and upgrade components down the road if you so desire. 5 stars for me! Unlike other turkey fryers I have purchased, this one excels in simplicity of set up and use. I like the fact it does not have an electronic ignition, but make sure you buy some long matches or a similar lighter. The electronic ignition on other models seem to be the failing component, rendering it useless. The only complaint is the lid was dinged up upon delivery. I probably could have asked for a replacement, but have not got around it yet. Clean up is about what you expect after boiling gallons of oil for over an hour, but I did notice it did not splatter as much as other units.

I bought this mainly to boil maple sap into syrup, and it did the job well. Shipping was fast, and everything was packed securely. It does need some assembly, but it only took me about 10 minutes to put it together. The burner puts out a lot of heat and kept a nearly full pot at steady boil. I ran it on full blast for about 8 hours and used up a whole 15lb propane tank. I could have stretched the propane further if I lowered the flame. The biggest downside is the pots. They’re really thin, and my 30-quart pot even came with a small dent. They’ll work fine for light use, but if you plan to use this a lot, you might want to get better pots. Overall, if you need an affordable setup for frying a turkey, boiling seafood, or even making maple syrup, this will do the trick. Just don’t expect super high-quality pots. Knocking one star off for cheap pots.

This was my first time frying a turkey and I loved it!!! Only thing I would say is that it should say for up to 20 lbs turkeys somewhere plainly on the box. It other than that it was great!!!!

Built well and on the larger side. We like it cause it does not have a timer that shuts the burner off every 15 min. Someone will need to supervise this at all times while its in use. We cooked a turkey on a cold November day in the northeast.
