Some reviewers don't seem to understand the function of this part. This is supposed to stop the flow of fuel when the engine is not running. The bottom fitting is for vacuum from the engine, when its running it opens the internal valve letting fuel flow from the top fitting. When the engine is shut off the vacuum ceases and the internal valve closes stopping the flow of fuel. With a full tank of fuel you should be able to remove both lines and no fuel should come out of this part. It's 16mm as specified. This part is basically an automatic petcock. I didn't like the quality compared to the kymco OEM unit . Others have had success with this part it's just not for me. Returned ... show more

Worked good for 1 day then stopped, I don't think it got clogged up with anything but even if it did you cant get in there to fix it anyways. Just buy a petcock with a shut of valve instead.
