  • Excellent for health tracking, accurate sleep data, and great battery life
Size: 45mm Color: Slate
I’ve been using the Garmin Venu 4 daily for several weeks, and it’s easily one of the best smartwatches I’ve owned. The setup was simple and intuitive, and the interface is responsive and easy to navigate. I use it primarily for health and performance tracking, especially sleep data, heart rate, and recovery insights. The sleep tracking has been spot on, even distinguishing between REM, light, and deep sleep accurately. It’s helped me identify how my CPAP use and workouts affect my rest and overall energy. The Body Battery feature is surprisingly useful and aligns closely with how I actually feel day to day. The watch feels premium and fits comfortably on the wrist. I appreciate the slightly larger screen and clean layout of the data fields during workouts. Battery life is excellent; I typically get five to six days per charge with continuous tracking, notifications, and GPS use. Connectivity with my phone is solid, and syncing to Garmin Connect is quick and reliable. I also love that it pairs seamlessly with my fitness and nutrition tracking setup. Overall, the Garmin Venu 4 strikes a great balance between functionality, comfort, and battery life. If you care about accurate sleep analysis, reliable health data, and overall ease of use, it’s a fantastic choice. Highly recommended. I upgraded from a Venu 2, but a new user will find the experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend a screen protector, or hard shell case. This model relies significantly more on the touchscreen functionality instead of physical buttons, so a deep scratch could render your investment moot. Don't skimp on this! I spent 15 bucks on a screen protector and its already paid for itself twice in two weeks of ownership, and I am very careful. ... show more

  • Massive Upgrade
Size: 45mm Color: Slate
Having previously owned the Venu 2, this is a massive step up. The activity tracking is much easier to use, the built-in flashlight is indispensable, and the amount of health data available is both staggering and wonderful. The training load is a much easier and more accurate way to tell when I should be working out vs resting, a huge step up from body battery alone. The GPS also (anecdotally) seems quicker to connect. I live the week and a half battery life, something you can't get on competitors like Samsung or Apple. It is well worth the money spent. ... show more

  • Trend >> to >> Venu 4
Size: 45mm Color: Silver Gray
I upgraded from the Garmin Vivo Trend to the new Garmin Venu 4 (45 mm, Grey Stainless Steel) and I couldn’t be happier. After wearing it for 3 days, I’m impressed with how premium it feels — the stainless steel case gives it a true watch look, while still being lightweight and comfortable. The larger display is crisp and easy to read, and the 22 mm band width feels substantial, much closer to my traditional Citizen watch than the slimmer straps on smaller models. Setup was simple, syncing with my iPhone was seamless, and notifications and health tracking features work flawlessly. Just turned on the ECG app and it worked the first try. This watch strikes the perfect balance between style and functionality. It’s durable (I hope), customizable with different bands (already have a dusty rose band on now), and looks great with everything. I don’t feel it’s too sporty due to the fully stainless steel face and bezel. Highly recommend for anyone upgrading from the Trend! Which was elegant and simple. It’s nice not to have to “align the hour and minute arms” every single day. I don’t use or need all of the MANY activity options, but I am very impressed that they are there. I found a perfect analog watch face that works for me in the Connect IQ store and I am so happy. ... show more

  • I LOVE the Venu 4 for improving my health!
Size: 45mm Color: Black and Brown
The Garmin Venu 4 has been a game changer for my overall health and wellness. I'd been trying to find a smart device to help me understand my health and help me with my fitness goals. I'd already tried the Apple Watch and was considering the Oura, but after reading lots from people on Reddit forums, I decided to give the Venu 4 a try and I think I made the best choice! I have sensory issues and having stuff touching me drives me nuts, so I wasn't sure I could keep a ring or a watch on for long periods of time. This watch is the first one I've been able to keep on for days without taking it off completely! This version comes with two bands and I would definitely recommend that. The silicon band ended up making my wrist get a rash eventually from holding too much moisture underneath. I switched to the leather band and haven't had any major issues since then. I plan to still use the silicon band, but I think the key is to let your wrist air out at least once a day or so to keep sweat from causing a breakout. The watch pairs with an app on your phone for extra functionality and the insight it provides is fantastic. I was really able to tune in to my sleep issues and work on my sleep routine a little at a time. It even sends notifications to me and vibrates when it's getting late at night to remind me I should be sleeping and not be on my tablet. I'm also thrilled that the Venu 4 nudges me to move when I sit idle for too long. It offers animated movement workouts and you can download workouts to the watch to do on the go. The watch looks beautiful with a very clear screen that gives you all the details you need to keep your health front of mind. Heart rate, step count, and other information is easily accessible with swipes and button presses. There is even a handy flashlight built in to the watch, which has come in handy in ways I didn't expect. One night when there was a power outage, the flashlight was a welcomed on-wrist friend in the darkness. Which brings me to the topic of battery life. The battery lasts a good week or so by my estimate. It lasted a lot longer when I first bought it, but now I'd say a week or so is normal. ... show more
