These are designed to be used on full size boats. It works with several Garmin fish finders which are usually used on smaller crafts. I used it to restore a Garmin striker 4, transforming it into an ice fishing Sonar. I mounted to a fishing box with a 12 volt battery. Works like a charm.

Had to replace mine because someone stepped on the mount causing it be loose and eventually break away. I was able to fish it through to the helm and after getting it plugged in it worked great. I've had it on for about a year now and still working.

I bought this transducer to used it on my inflatable boat, I got the Garmin Striker 4plus ice bundle edition and now I wanted to use it in the summer time. It works great. Had to change the screw that came with it to mount to the transducer to the transducer mount, but other than that it’s great! The transducer cable is long enough to be installed in the back of the boat and have the unit in the front! Highly recommended! ... show more

Tore the original first transducer off on The Skagit River rocks and ordered this new one. Plugged in and worked flawlessly. The company I ordered from was legitimate.
