I read a lot of the reviews of the Garmin Titanium Quick Fit band with some people mentioning stripping the screw heads, being unable to remove the pins, requiring heat to soften the threadlocker, etc... I was able to remove the necessary screws/pins without heat or excessive torque. I just used the included screw driver. I did apply some purple threadlocker after I was done sizing the band. I used a magnet and checked the entire band and nothing was even remotely magnetic. Based on how they even applied DLC to the top of the screw/pins, I believe those are titanium as well. The DLC coating feels very nice and I've used DLC on other applications and it is quite durable but time will tell on how scratch resistant this band is compared to the DLC on my Kershaw Livewire, Apple Watch Ultra 2, etc... Since I plan to use this band while running, it was harder to find the right size/adjustment without it being overly tight but I didn't want it so loose that it was spinning or sliding. It is extremely lightweight, about comparable to the nylon bands and cheap imitation knockoff nylon/rubber bands. I looked at the cheap knock off import "Titanium" bands and a lot of the reviews worried me, so I opted to just shell out the money for the Garmin band. The way I see it, if my Forerunner 935 dies I can upgrade to another Forerunner or Fenix with the same 22mm width and re-use the titanium band. I've grown tired of silicone/rubber bands that break and/or stretch.

The fitment adjustment was easy, the tiny screws came out easy, and went back in easier than what other buyers have reviewed. The carbon gray band is very nice, it matches my Instict 3 tactical nicely, but it’s not as dark as the images you see in the reviews, but still very nice. It feels nice, and the quality is good.

Honestly, maybe its not the best to say this out loud on Amazon but truth be told I was probably less than 50/50 on returning BEFORE ordering. I saw this and even made a joke to a garmin support rep I work with about the pricing on these. Well, silicone bands ALWAYS give me that itchy rash, Garmin ones FAR worse than cheap knockoffs I trust LESS as I have ripped them. I bought a nylon band and loved it. FAR less irritation and even looked pretty good. The downside is it stays wet when you wash hands etc. I started looking up nice bands for my wedding actually. Saw a few bad reviews of knock off "titanium" bands for 15-50 bucks and none really stood out to me. Scratching easily, and their weight were common complaints. I said screw it and bought this Garmin band. Wow. Loved it the moment I got it, more when I self adjusted it and made it fit 8/10 of desired tightness. After getting home from my honeymoon I got the punch pin and did the microadjustment the clasp offered and now, this thing is PERFECT. None of the adjustments are hard. I'm an IT guy so I'm handy but I've never adjusted a watch in my life. If you spent the money on an epix, I can assume you probably can afford this. I know it sucks spending a portion of the watch price on a band but ... do it now. I will proudly wear this at the office, at clients, at dinners, all with my favorite smartwatch the epix 2 pro.

I have tried cheaper “titanium” bands that end up weighing as much as stainless steel. This band, though expensive, is very lightweight as metal bands go. I also really like the fact that you can remove links (mini-screw driver included) without taking it to a jeweler. Beyond that it looks sensational with my Garmin Epix and matches the bezel color spot on. The clasp seems very secure and durable. The quick fit feature allows me to change bands, but this one is so amazing I may never do that.

Looks great, but if you have hair on your arms, this will find every way to painfully pull it our slowly like it has a vendetta against you and your entire family. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because of how it looks and how durable it is. But it deserves no more than that due to the fact that you can't wear this without shaving your arms first.

I too was skeptical of the pricing on this titanium bracelet for my Fenix 7 titanium sapphire. BUT, it is a high quality product. Light and good looking band. Fits well. Easy to install. I definitely use the watch for more that just workouts now!
