I'm very happy with this protector. Things I've learned - your ring has to be CLEAN, no finger prints/smudges/oils. I take my Oura and slide it on a big fat permanent ink marker (you know the kind) till it doesn't move. Then I use the included cleaning cloth and am able to clean the Oura ring perfectly. Another thing I've learned, Don't peel the sticker off all the way from the "invisible skin" when applying. I peel enough back to get it started. Getting started, perfect placement, is also key to good placement. Once I'm happy with the start, I slowly peel off the sticker and guide the skin down slowly and keeping it straight (while my ring is still on the fat marker). This allows me to correct placement as I go. One skin will last me easily 2 - 3 weeks depending. And this includes washing hands, getting the ring wet, and any other daily use. I will start to get some lifting at the edge of the end; I clip this off as it loses stickie-ness. I've very happy with this product as it has kept my ring for getting totally scratched up and that's what I wanted! ... show more

This product is absolutely terrible. The installation process is frustrating and unnecessarily difficult. No matter how carefully I applied it, the edges kept peeling off almost immediately. The protector also has sharp edges that make the ring uncomfortable to wear and collect dust and lint constantly, making it look awful after just a short time. For something advertised as “ultra-thin” and “invisible,” it ends up looking cheap and poorly designed. Total waste of money. I would not recommend this product to anyone. This is the second time I’m purchasing these. They work great and easy to apply. They also lasted a Long time. Also these don’t have any nasty smell to them the way some other companies have. These also work great if you buy the silicone protectors for the Oura ceramic. I have cloud. I love tide and petal and found silicone protectors that matched those colors. Then I took these clear skin protectors and put that over the silicone protectors so it has that shiny ceramic look. I took a touch of super glue and put it atthe edges where they meet so it lasts longer. These are definitely a must. Also make sure when you apply them where the notch is on your ring because that’s where it will overlap and you can easily feel it with your thumb so you know which way the ring goes when you put it on ... show more

Eh.... it does the job. It was a little difficult to get it on the first time but since it comes with multiple I was able to get the second one on pretty easily. You really can't tell its even on there which is nice compared to other options like bulky plastic or silicone covers. My only complaint is the stickiness & longevity of the sticker. It has been on for about 12 hours and is starting to come off. I have stuck it back down a few times but I don't really see this as a long term solution/protective option. ... show more

I was really excited to find these because I wear an Oura ring and I’m always worried about scratching it, especially at the gym. The concept of a clear, ultra-thin protective film that still lets your ring color show through sounded great. For around $10 you get 6 covers, which feels like a fair price if they actually last. Installation was easier than I expected. The kit includes wipes/cleaning pieces to prep the ring, and the film goes on pretty smoothly. It covers most of the ring surface, although you do have to take your time lining it up and trimming it so it fits your ring size well. My main concern is durability. After just a few days, the film started looking a little roughed up and scratched, which defeats the “invisible” look pretty quickly. Also, after showering, I could see spots where water seemed to get under parts of the film close to the crease. It hasn’t fully peeled off on its own yet, and it’s still sticking, but I’m not confident one skin will last more than a couple of weeks (maybe less) depending on your daily activities. Overall: I like having a protective layer on my ring, and I’ll keep using these, but go in expecting that you may be replacing them fairly often. I was honestly surprised by how well these Ultra Thin Oura Ring Skin Protectors work. They fit perfectly on my ring without making it feel bulky or uncomfortable, and they’re so thin that you barely even notice them. They’ve done a great job protecting my ring from scratches during everyday use, especially at work and while working out. The adhesive stays on well, but they’re also easy to replace when needed. I also like that they don’t interfere with charging or the sensors at all. Installation was simple and the protectors look almost invisible once applied.
