My first Garmin watch and I love it. I have been using Samsung smart watches and this is a huge upgrade. I have had the watch about a month. The battery life is over the top. I had a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and got about 2 days of use between charges. On my first two charges I got about 12 days of battery life per charge. This is with Always On Display off and wrist gesture on. This time of year my exercise is mainly walking/hiking. In the 12 day periods I averaged 17 miles which was about 5.7 hours of GPS time per charge. Battery life is my single most favorite part of this watch. I can't tell you how nice it is not to worry about charging the watch frequently. After a month it would be very difficult to go back to a watch which has to be charged frequently. Other things I like about the watch include: - For the size, this watch is very light. Significantly lighter than my Galaxy 4 Classic. - Screen is awesome. High res and very bright. No issues in sunlight. - Sapphire crystal. - Plenty of memory. Even with the all the maps preloaded 15.6 gb is available. - Maps are preloaded and include topo. Maps are very usable with high res screen. - The amount of detailed information you can get on the watch relating to exercise is amazing. - The phone app is great and you can get even more detailed information relating to your exercise. - The widgets on the watch are very helpful and detailed. With the GW4 I had to go to phone to get details. - Crazy amount of sport modes (which I will only use a fraction of). - Heart rate monitor is very accurate. - GPS is also very accurate and multi band really helps in hard to cover areas. - Routing and navigation features with maps are fantastic. There is not much I dislike about the watch besides the price. After a month of using it, the price does not bother me as much :) I do wish it had better lossless music file support. I wavered indecisively between the Epix and Forerunner 965. In the end, both are great. But this seller has been one of the most helpful, responsive, reliable, and patient - of ANY seller I have encountered on Amazon. I cannot recommend highly enough, I would definitely buy again from them, they actually care about their customers. Also, the Epix speaks for itself. I really love this watch. I have owned and trained with Garmin products for years so I like to keep Garmin devices for training. It’s easy to use and battery life is about 5 days for how I have it setup. The display is easy to see and use. Watch is a good size without being to bulky and I think it is light weight compared to the Ultra and the Garmin Fenix. The only negative is the watch band. I don’t like the silicone strap. I switched out for a Velcro band purchased on amazon and it works great and looks good. Highly recommend ... show more

This full featured watch is amazing durability. I am in construction and damage just about everything I wear. For me the sapphire display and titanium bezel is a huge win. I try to be very careful but have on a few occasions scraped the front of the watch across concrete, stucco finish or other surfaces that would majorly scratch or destroy any other watch. Absolutely scarry everytime it happens. I also have two large dogs that like to play hard and have clawed and teethed the lens on multiple occasions. The watch still looks new and not a single scratch after having it for about a year. I never worry about getting it dirty or submerged in water. In fact I wash the watch like i would anything else to remove the dirt and grime it gets from work and outdoor play. The features are spot on and work great. I can't think of anything this watch lacks other than a bullet proof built in microphone. Never have seen a built in microphone that will hold up to the punishment that I put things through. Love this watch… the features, menus/usability, app interface…it’s all well executed. Battery life is great and the AMOLED screen is a game changer for my old eyes. I don’t care for the aesthetics that much… I own a Suunto Baro 9 which to my eye I s a far better looking watch, but I really struggle to read the dim screen. Very nice watch, smaller than it looks in pictures but still good size (47mm) Battery life: quite good. For the features it offers, and the screen it's got this watch offer great Battery life. Charging: Got a 2 day worth of Battery in 15 minutes, the watch charges completely in less than 1 hour and a half. Features: Activity and fitness related uncountable features that I yet need to explore but I am very satisfied with the ones I have tested.     • Not durable and poor support

At first, I loved this watch. It worked great, tracked fitness levels, with an awesome battery life. At around month 7, I noticed the readings for workouts were off. That is when I found that the altimeter thought I was at 5000' elevation all the time. There is no way to fix the altimeter (no warranty support, instead you are directed to a knowledge base article to manually adjust altitude), so at this point, the altimeter no longer worked. Within a month after that, the screen started to glitch. The screen would flash on and off; you could not use it. If you could manage to keep the screen on long enough a reboot would fix it. I factory reset the watch; it made no difference. Support was no help, and my emails requesting warranty repair went unanswered. Additionally, after I had this watch for a few months and had fallen in love with it, I purchased my daughter the Fenix version (directly from Garmin). It did the same thing. So we have almost $2k in fitness watches that are completely useless, with no help or support, no warranty. These watches are junk. Don't waste your money on them. ... show more
