  • All of My Roses Live in These
Size: 7 Gallons Color: 20-pack
I grow about 125 Miniature and Miniflora roses in these pots, with more plants always on the way. I didn't buy this house with a rose garden in mind, so I lack sunny areas. Growing my roses in these pots makes it easy to move them around so that I can rotate them in and out of the sunny patches. Or if a plant gets a fungus or pest problem, I can move it into a quarantine spot. I live in South Carolina, so some of the Mini roses get to be about 5-6 feet tall! The seven gallon size grow bag is good for most of the roses, a few of the more monstrous varieties get transferred into a larger version of these fabric pots. Even so, I can only think of one time that a rose blew over in a windstorm. The weight of the moist soil is a good counterbalance to the foliage. Seven gallons is probably too small for the larger rose types, but my own root Miniatures and Minifloras do fine. Some of my plants are grafted on Fortuniana, and they do eventually require larger pots. The good: These pots provide excellent drainage. I plant exclusively with Promix BX. The pots do not dry out more quickly than regular rigid pots. They are really easy to move around by grabbing the handles and lifting or dragging the pots. Summer sun and winter chill have not affected the color or strength of the material. All of the seams are well sewn. Nothing I use in the garden stains or bleaches the fabric. Also, the price is great! When I give away rose plants, I don't feel too bad about giving away the grow bag along with it, because they are so affordable. The bad: Transplanting is not the easiest when planted with roses. With a regular pot, you can let the rose dry out slightly, run a knife around the edges of the pot on the inside, tip it over, give it a few taps, and slide the rose out in one piece complete with roots and soil. With these, the sides are floppy, so that doesn't work. I wait until (our mild) winter when the roses are dormant, roll the rose canes up in landscape fabric to protect myself from thorns, place the pot on its side on a tarp, and dig around with a hand trowel until I can get the rose out. Then I replace in a larger pot and add back in the spilled soil from the tarp. The Ugly: Let's face it, these are not particularly decorative. They don't really add to the landscape. But I have several dozen of these along the sides and front of my house, and it's not horrible. The rest are in my privacy fenced back yard, and they are just fine. Bottom line, I buy this brand along with a couple of other similar products. One of the brands I purchase is much more expensive, but these bags are just as good in quality. ... show more

  • A lot less expensive than the plastic pots of same size, plus handles which make carrying easier
Size: 5 Gallons Color: Black
Seem to be well made, heavy duty fabric. A lot cheaper than plastic nursery pot of the same size.

  • Really a great way to move plants around, safely
Size: 3 Gallons Color: 20-pack
Pot quality and thickness for length was great. So was the height and capacity. I have a pretty big plant variety. Works well

  • Garden 10 gallon grow bags
Size: 10 Gallons Color: 20-pack
Price was great. Wanted to plant some vegetables but we were redoing my grass this year and I didnt want to dig up a section in the lawn. These worked great. Easy to move the plants and they all grew and produced great in them. Best of all I can still reuse them at the end if the season!

  • Will never go back to buckets!
Size: 7 Gallons Color: 20-pack
This is the first year I have used grow bags and I needed up buying multiple sizes. I will use them from now on. These were a great size for pepper plants, and I used bigger ones for tomatoes and squash. The quality of these is fantastic. They have held up well, and I have no reason to believe they won’t last multiple seasons. I have used 5 gallon buckets in the past, and they just don’t last long. These are thick, but water drains so much better than drilled holes in the bottom of buckets. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Fantastic!
Size: 5 Gallons Color: Black
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The grow bags are just wonderful! My yard isn't great for planting in the ground, so I thought these bags would be an excellent alternative, and boy, they did not disappoint! They hold a ton of soil, enough to bury the roots deep for better growing abilities. It is simple to water, and they are well draining bags. They look fantastic set up with all the plants. I'm really happy with them and will buy them again if I need more, because they are reusable, many times, because of the excellent quality material and construction ... show more

  • Holding up well
Size: 5 Gallons Color: Black
I was concerned these pots would not hold up and break apart or down. A month into planting tomatoes and other vegetables in these fabric pots, they have held up. They are holding up through all the water and elements as they are outside in the hot sun with temperatures in the 100s the past few weeks. Plants need watered more frequently as they dry out quicker but the plants are growing without any issues. I have lifted the pots by their hands with dirt and plants and the handles remained attached, sturdy construction. Pleasantly surprised of the quality. ... show more
