After seeing some of the reviews about parts of it arriving rusted or damaged, I decided to take a chance and check it out myself. Luckily, mine arrived in perfect condition. Tried it out during a 4-hour car ride (in 103 degree Texas weather): the A/C helped some, I’m sure, but the ice packs (literally gallon-size Ziploc bags full of ice cubes) melted just like in the pics after 3-4 hours—didn’t notice any liquid seeping onto the outside of the cooler. The foods that were frozen remained pretty frozen (not totally, but they kept really well). It folds nicely; super convenient and it fit a LOT of items! Keeps ice 12 to 16 hours easy and it doesn't even leak when ice starts to melt. I've used it on motorcycle and car trips. It has a nice extra large capacity. The quality of the bag is amazing stitching is very strong handles and straps are strong and reliable.

    • Not sturdy but works good
This cooler works great and can hold quite a bit, but it is not a sturdy cooler. When it’s empty or only has a few things in it, it will be very floppy. Best to use when you’re gonna fill it.

    • Here is how to FIX the floppy!
Fixed the floppy! Many reviews hae mentioned that this is geat but it was floppy. Heres how to FIX it!! Go to Walmart. Take the cooler with you. Go to the plastic bins. There will be a plastic bin with a CLIP ON LID It will fit PERFECTLY inside the cooler, either with or without the lid. When you use it either use the lid as another **floor**, or use the box part of the bin on top of the lid. Don't toss the lid, more on that in a sec. So. The plastic bin adds enough rigidity to the cooler, coming about half way up the side, to not sag and not let your items mush together. The lid- place it under the bin as another reinforcement, or snap it back on over the stuff in the bin, and keep placing stuff on top! If you need to stash this- pull that bin out, put the cooler in, snap that lid on. Or leave the bin inside, push the cooler sides down inside the bin, and stash. The plastic bin also keeps liquids contained. I would not put loose ice in ANY of these and not expect the items to not get wet, or the cooler to not leak. You could use loose ice IN the bin if you were using the cooler as a can cooler in a stationary sort of way, tho. Cooler + $4 plastic bin = happines! ... show more

I really wanted to like this cooler since we're going to start camping more often and really wanted something with a good price, leak proof, collapsible and keep ice in... 3 out of 4 isn't bad! I tested this before our trip and filled it with ice and left it alone on the kitchen table for 7 hrs. When I peeked inside most of the ice had melted! It didn't leak which was really great, but I was hoping for the 12 hrs of ice atleast for one night of camping. Took a regular cooler instead, will be returning:( ... show more

I bought this to use as an insulated shopping bag for my freezer groceries, but it's far too nice for that. It's very durable and has plenty of room. There are several pockets including a large zippered compartment. It would be nice for a picnic since it keeps warm items warm as well. The handle has a wrap on top that provides stability and makes it more comfortable to hold heavy items. There's a detachable shoulder strap so you can carry it hands free if needed. ... show more

If you can keep it out of the sun with some decent ice packs, this is a great cooler for a day trip. Especially since it's collapsible and easy to store. But if you need it for more than a day or two, it doesn't stay cold enough to keep everything from melting and requires frequent re-ups on ice. And if you don't drain it then the water will steep through the top. Or if it falls over on it's side, all that water spills out of the zipper. It's much cheaper than a Yeti cooler, but it's not as effective. Otherwise its good for the price. ... show more
