This is an excellent beginner's kit. I recently became a first time homeowner and I've never gardened before, but I need to care for the garden that's already here and this was a perfect way to get started. Has everything you need to do little maintenance things and looks nice hanging by the door. The bag is well designed for holding the tools and has space to carry small items and to add more tools as you learn what else you may need. The pruners (a.k.a. secateurs) are not very sharp or big and the tools are probably not going to be super durable, but they are a good selection to get you started as you figure out what you need. ... show more

Bag: strong, high quality; forgiving color considering the bag will get dirty (but will still look nice); easy to slip tools in and out, but convenient cords hold tools in place. Tools: they seem pretty standard. I've only used a few so far, but I used them for a much harder job than they were intended and they felt strong and sturdy. Cheap tools would have broken. This thing is the best. Some of the tools aren't the greatest, but most of them are quite sturdy. The bag is the best part, with all of the pockets and how deep it is. I can fit so much into it for all of my gardening projects.

I was excited to tend to my garden outside. The shears broke in my hand while i was pruning the lavender. One of the spades also bended backwards while digging in the ground. For indoor basic things this is great, but outdoor tasks it isn’t worth it.

These tools are not your high end gardening tools, but they are sturdy and will do the job. I love that they come in a gardening bag with straps to hold them in the pocket. I keep my sun hat, garden pad, extra gloves, my fertilizer and extra seeds in the bag for easy convenience.

Love how much comes in this kit and the style of the bag is great. Knee pad is very small and tools don’t exactly feel super high quality. But it gets the job done.
