I use it to cut wooden dowel for height. Its easy to use and very lightweight. I also got this product to go hiking with. I think it would perform pretty well to cut some branches.

I like the saw, but the package contained no instructions. The blade was not attached to the handle and I had to play around a bit to figure out how to attach it. Furthermore, the blade was in the sheath and I at first thought that I was shorted the blade because I couldn't see it. It was jammed in there and hard to dig out. Also, the listing says it is Japanese steel, but it's marked Made in Taiwan. I suppose that Taiwan could have imported the steel and made the blade there, but it makes me question the listing. ... show more

This little saw is wonderful! I use it more than I ever thought I would. It cuts small branches like a warm knife through butter. I think I will buy another one for "just incase". Highly recommend.
