Used it today for a couple of hours of heavy weeding and brush clearing. It works perfectly with 33 gallon plastic lawn bags, with the bottom of the bag resting on the ground so that you can press down and compact the yard waste (see photos). The support arms have spring in them, which makes it easy to hang new bags and take off the full bags. The spring tension also holds the bags securely while filling. Four clips are included to help keep the bags on the frame, but I did not need them. The support arms connect to the bottom frame with thumbscrews. The thumbscrews loosened a bit as I lifted the frame and moved it around, so it is a good idea to check them occasionally to prevent the support arms from pulling out. This was a minor inconvenience and I only had to check once or twice as I moved the thing around a quarter acre for a couple of hours and filled about eight bags. If you have limited storage, the thumbscrew design makes the frame easy to disassemble for tucking it away in a corner or small shed. If you have no need to disassemble, the thumbscrews could be replaced with short bolts and tightened down more securely.

Bought this item to use in the yard for yard waste. I love the fact that it easily comes apart for storage and takes up so little room. It was easy to assemble and even came with a wrench. Fits large trash bags easily and comes with the clips to hold them. The clips also can be used to hold the pieces together when disassembled. I filled up, 4 garbage bags of fairly heavy yard waste to maybe 3/4 full so that they would not be too heavy to carry and it performed perfectly. Very pleased with my purchase. Please note when disassembling for storage, the bottom hand tightened screws where the arms attach to the base should be tightened enough so they will not come out easily. I almost lost one due to it being too loose.

This wire bag holder set is really good, resistant, made of VERY durable, strong, and reliable materials. Even the included metal clips are very well made and strong, and durable. Helps hold my leaf bags good and tight while I work on the yards. It's easy to assemble, even easier to use, the lightweight materials make is super easy to carry around, even to the roof if you need to take it there, and the way it stretches just enough makes it perfect for one to fill a bag well before needing to remove and replace. However, the price for these wires feels a little steep. Mind you, the quality IS of the best, I just find it hard to take when it costs so much for so few materials. Never the less, I HIGHLY recommend this product, especially if you, like me, need something to hold those pesky bags open while picking up fruits, grass and leaves.

I have a massive maple tree & other trees too which obviously bring down tons of leaves now in fall. So much easier to use this holder with bag in it than just a bag with no holder or putting on a flat bag & then emptying, etc... Now I blow leaves into 3 piles, about every other day, sometimes daily & very easily move this around to each pile since it's so amazingly light weight & so are the leaves in the bag of course. Then I shovel leaves directly into (wide open) bag! I did purchase extra extra large bags thankfully too. This opens very wide, so standard size bags won't stretch that far... way too small. I got clear nothing fancy bags & they work great. But for trimming/pruning I use a more heavy duty bag for puncture resistance. Can't believe how many years I've done it the hard way! I can lift this so easily with one hand. Super fast & easy to assemble. I have the space in garage shop so I just leave it opened up. My only minor complaint is one of the knobs to tighten screws on bottom kept working loose. So I applied heavy duty glue to the screw & put knob back on... no more problem. Not enough to deduct a star for sure. I'm happy with this & recommend making life easier with it!

This was easy enough to assemble, and it holds the bags open perfectly wide enough to dump my lawn clippings into. It's nice not dealing with bags not settling into a garbage can because of air being trapped in the can, and it's very simple to tie the bag up and take it off this holder. The only issue is the legs don't bolt into the bottom of the frame very securely, I have the bolts tightened the whole way to the point where the plastic heads are starting to collapse if I try to tighten any further. Still, the legs pull right out of the base when you lift up the carrier. I will see if I can put longer bolts in to stop that from happening because aside from that, this is perfect for lawncare.

I'm doing a lot of paper shredding and have had a problem emptying the bin of shreds into a garbage bag on the floor. Shreds fly around and many always wind up on the floor instead of in the bag. This stand fixed the problem. Now I just empty the bin right into the bag. Perfect! Also, for cleanup around the house, you don't have to bend over and struggle with a bag on the floor trying to get things into the bag. Now one person can do it all without calling someone to hold the bag. When assembling the arms, they don't screw together all that easily, but they do screw together. You just have to use either the attached mini wrench or one of your own and turn it with some patience. I'll probably buy a 2nd one for outdoors because I love keeping one indoors too.

Terrible design. I went with this design in an effort to save money but it turned out to be a waste of money for me. You will be much better off paying a little more for the bag buddy - https://a.co/d/4demqW0 . I purchased the Artigarden Garden Trash Bag Holder for use outdoors to hold my lawn bags open as I weed my flowerbeds and trim my bushes. Every time I tried to move the bag holder, it completely fell apart. I thought to myself, “no worries, I’ll just use it as a stationary bag holder on the pool deck when we have guests”. NOPE!! This bag holder leaves rust stains on the pool deck - something the Bag Buddy never did.
