I picked up this item too till some established raised beds that the previous homeowner neglected to weed and it fits my purpose just fine. It was easy to assemble, just needed a little muscle to attach the bottom piece. It’s a good height for me to use (at 5 ft 5) and it makes quick work of the garden beds. I like that it’s a manual tiller so that I can easily go around the raspberries that I want to keep in the bed, whereas with a gas tiller I have to stop well away from the raspberry canes and then use hand tools to get any closer.

Very heavy duty product, with all metal materials. I've owned tillers in the past and they don't last due to the job they usually are up against, such as weeds, ivy, etc. This thing takes a beating, and at worst, just needs some screws retightened once in a while. Best tiller I've ever used.

After about 20 minutes use in hard soil, it had flexed enough in different directions, and I didn't feel safe using it. Had the feeling it would fail catastrophically, possibly causing a fall.

I was able to assemble this without issue. I used it to dig holes for tree saplings. I found that it took a lot of effort to make holes even remotely large enough for the saplings. I live in NC, and the soil here is mostly hard clay. I was digging the holes during a stretch when we had a decent amount of rain, but I still found it quite difficult to get the prongs to engage and churn up the dirt to the extent that I would have liked. I'm in my mid-fifties and fit, but I'm definitely not as strong as I used to be. Perhaps the disappointing factor in this experience was me. :)

I ordered this because I'm renovating my backyard. This arrived as described and on time. Assembly took less than 5 minutes. It's sturdy, lightweight, and best of all performed well considering SoFlo topsoil sits on rock. I'm pleased with it and recommend it.
