We bought this rake because we needed a new one and it was fairly inexpensive. It arrived on time and was relatively easy to put together HOWEVER This thing didnt last more than 6 swipes at our leaves when the tines began breaking off of the bottom... and we didnt even have a lot of leaves, as our tree dropped almost all of them in the fall that we were able to get up already.. so it wasn't like we were trying to rake a hefty pile of super wet and heavy leaves.. Im a realist, and know that plastic breaks eventually and that you get what you pay for.. but being unable to get less than 10 min into racing with a rake that states it is specifically designed TO RAKE LEAVES is extremely disappointing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS; Go to your local ACE hardware and pick up a $12 rake that'll do the job and last you more than one session.

This lightweight rake end isn't as wide as ones I typically see in the store but it can get the job done and it pulls in leaves and debris pretty easily. The reinforced tines are flexible enough to avoid breaking on twigs or pinecones, yet sturdy enough to handle thick piles of leaves without much bending. Since part of it is made of plastic, I’m unsure how long it will last if you do a lot of yard work.
