I've been happy with this adjustable rake. It was easy to assemble and it is easy to operate this rake. I've bought a few traditional rakes over the last few years and they are expensive for a good one. I've been impressed with how well this one works. I find this rake to be a value as it priced well. I do recommend this rake as it is easy to assemble and as easy to operate. I like how the rake head is adjustable, it makes it easier to use in different applications. The leaves haven't fallen enough to use this rake but I have used it in a couple other tasks and had no issues. I do recommend this rake as it is well made, easy to assemble and the current price is highly reasonable.

I wanted a smaller sized rack that can get into and under small shrubs. But can still handle the medium sized jobs. The larger racks do a terrible job of getting under small shrubs and plants. This one can do that. Then when I'm done with it, I can shrink it down and it doesn't take up as much room in my garage.

With fall coming in, I needed a rake to gather all the leaves that are starting to fall from my trees. This rake is easy to put together. I love the expandable head. I do have areas that get more narrow or more wide in my back yard. It allow me to get into the area behind my shed and fence. The adjustable handle is great too! My husband really likes that because he is much taller than me and he feels comfortable using it. Overall it’s worked great and only took a star off because the metal teeth don’t look like they will hold up for long, but I could be wrong.

This rake is really great for leaves on the smaller setting, but you have to do more work that way - it's less great when expanded, most of the leaves just pass through it. If I am raking up larger things, like sticks and huge leaves, it works really well. Either way, I like that the handle is so long, it really helps prevent back pain!

The media could not be loaded. With lots of leaves to rake, we're always needing another rake. We've had wooden and plastic ones break, so I have been looking forward to seeing how well this metal one will hold up. It was very easy to assemble. It did take me a minute to figure out how to expand the rake head, but as you can see in the video, it's really not difficult. The rake only has a 17 inch span in it's extended position, which really isn't all that wide. But it's good for basic raking and the metal should hold up well. All the metal has a coating on it that I'm thinking will help it not to get rusty should it get left out in the elements. It's not super heavy, but also not so lightweight that it's flimsy. It has a nice balance. I think it will be a nice rake that should last well. If I've got to clean up leaves, I might as well have a decent rake to do it with, and this seems to be a decent one.

it took me a minute to figure out how to expand and contract this rake. This is accomplished by pushing the plastic handle near the rake end down to expand and pulling it back up to contract. It then has a locking mechanism to keep it in place. I got the extra long version. However, I left one of the handle pieces off because it felt too long to me. But that extra piece might come in handy for some tasks, I am thinking in the fall when I need to remove leaves from the patio cover. Overall, this is a handy little rake, and the ability to shrink the head size will come in handy when raking between bushes.

It is a good rake for your yard. The rake head is made of metal and looks like thick gauge round tines. The rake head is adjustable. The poles are in threaded sections so that you can adjust the size of the handle. It would be good for light to medium yard work. It looks sturdy enough to last.

We've been putting this rake to work ever since it arrived, and it's exactly what we needed. We have lots of trees, lots of garden areas, and lots of need for both wide rakes and narrow ones. This rake, with its expandable/retractable tines, covers all the bases. We got the long-handled one, and my husband is singing its praises. Our old narrow rake that he uses in our herb and flower gardens up front had died and our big rake for leaves and lawn wasn't looking much better. This rake, when small, is only about 9 inches wide and it zips between all our small plants easily. He trimmed a hedge behind them and removed all the trimmings without harming a single leaf on the herbs and flowers. It worked very well in the vegetable garden in back, too. It's nice and wide as a big rake. He raked out a lot of old leaves and fruit from under trees and citrus trees and it held up well, even when he was using it to snag up stray crabgrass. This is one of the best rakes we've ever had. Recommended!
