  • Great tool
Size: 45 inch
Works well!!!

  • A better screw would be appreciated.
I found it difficult to attach the hoe head to the pole because they provided a screw with a semi-flat dome shaped end. Yes, it comes with a socket wrench to tighten the bolt, but since the screw has a rounded edge it just spins as you attempt to tighten the bolt on the other side. It would have been easier to include a bolt that had an end that could easily be kept in place with a screw driver or like a standard bolt that could be held securely with a wrench. But since it was flat and circular it was hard to hold in place with pliers. We ended up adding a couple of washers to give it some height against the metal, which allowed us to grip it more tightly to secure the bolt end. After attaching the hoe head, the rest of the installation process was easy. Just screw in the pieces. In terms of quality, it is solid. I do find that it works better on soil that was previously tilled, so for normal weed maintenance. If you are using more compact dirt or weeds that have set in for a while, you will need to attack them with more hits to loosen up the surrounding soil and pull out the weed. ... show more

  • Good for Light Gardening Tasks
This garden hoe works well for light gardening and everyday yard maintenance. It’s lightweight, comfortable to use, and the long handle helps reduce bending, making it easier on your back. The two in one design is convenient since you can quickly switch between the hoe and cultivator without changing tools. It’s important to know that this tool isn’t designed for hard or compacted soil. For softer soil, flower beds, raised gardens, and light weeding, it performs well and gets the job done. Overall, it’s a practical gardening tool that’s great for light work around the garden. ... show more

  • Solid, sturdy tool with a minor drawback
Size: 45 inch
I use this garden hoe mainly for weeding and loosening soil in my garden beds, and overall it has worked very well for that purpose. The long handle is a good feature and saves my back quite a bit since I can work standing up instead of constantly bending or kneeling. The stainless steel head feels durable and handles compacted soil and weeds without bending or feeling flimsy. The only downside I’ve noticed is that since the handle is screwed together it sometimes comes loose and I have to tighten it. Even with that, it still makes routine gardening tasks easier and more efficient. I’m satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it for home gardeners who want a sturdy long-handled option. ... show more

  • Good but not as sturdy or durable
I'm average height and the 60-inch handle was the main reason I bought this — my back used to ache after weeding sessions with a shorter hoe, so that part is actually better. The hoe head performs well for surface weeding and soil loosening in my raised beds, it's sharp and the weight feels distributed. After a month of use the head-to-handle connection started to loosen and I had to tighten it, which isn't a great sign, so I don't feel it's all that durable or sturdy as I'd like. Fine for mild home garden maintenance; I wouldn't be surprised if it needs replacing within a season or two with regular use. Overall value is OK. ... show more

  • Lightweight hoe and cultivator with a long handle that reduces bending
This tool is a convenient 2‑in‑1 combo, giving you both a hoe blade and a 3‑prong cultivator without needing to switch tools. The hoe side works well for chopping weeds, shaping soil, and digging small planting holes, while the cultivator end is great for loosening soil and cleaning up around plants. It’s best suited for soft to medium soil — not for hard, compacted ground. The stainless steel handle is sturdy but still lightweight, making it easy to maneuver in tight garden spaces. The non‑slip grip feels comfortable, and the tool has a balanced weight that doesn’t tire your arms quickly. At 45 inches long, it’s designed to reduce bending and strain during yard work. This makes a noticeable difference during longer gardening sessions, especially for weeding or cultivating larger beds. Assembly is simple — the handle comes in three sections, so you can adjust the length by using one, two, or all three poles depending on the task. It also includes a hanging hole for easy storage. ... show more

  • Not for hard soil.
Silver garden hoe that measures 5"D x 5" W x 10"H. I was really excited to try this. I have a friend who has one similar to this one, and they love it. So, I jumped at the chance to review this hoe. I was first impressed by how easy it was to put together, how it has an adjustable height, how lightweight it is, and the low asking price. However, my perceptions quickly changed after my first use. The 2-in-1 combo clearly states (NOT FOR HARD SOILS). I have gumbo, hard soil, and some sandy loam. I tried on the sandy loam first; it has been about a week without rain, and I had to chop at the weed 5 or 6 times to remove it. I knew then not to try it on my gumbo. I believe the hoe isn't sharp enough. I can sharpen it, but what's the point? I have very little ground in my yard that is sandy loam. I would also rather the handle in wood or something with a better grip. It says non-slip grip, but it holds no match to a wooden solid handle. It is convenient to store because it breaks down, but I'm in the country where snakes live, and there is no way this hoe would kill a snake. Unless the snake laughed itself to death, I would choose such a weapon. If you have soft ground like sand on a beach, this hoe is for you. It is lightweight and should hold up to all your hoeing needs. However, if you need a hoe that is strong and can kill things, this, in my opinion, is not the hoe you need. ... show more
