This is one of the best hand tools I have ever bought. It is well build, handles any kind of soil, does not bend at all. I would buy it again if I had to. Also, the handle is just a bit longer then the average hand tools which makes it a lil easier on my back when I work in my raised beds.

This Garden GURU Stainless Steel hand Rake Cultivator Tool is a good sturdy hand rake but, the rake piece itself is a bit on the small size for me, I'd say about another 1/2 inch would be more balanced. It is made of a strong metal and welded very well. The handle is noticeably heavier than the rake end. My house came with a planting bed, about 6' x 18', with cactus and yucca...and rocks. Lots and lots of rocks. I use this tool to 'rake' my rocks. (I have some issues with spine damage and can't walk or stand for very long, so I do most of my gardening sitting on a foam mat.) This tool has been a godsend for moving those rocks around. Sounds crazy, but you kinda have to see to believe, I guess. My only complaint is that this claimed to have an ergonomic handle. I don't feel that the handle is a bit ergonomic. Yes, it's shaped to fit your hand, but that's it. It's heavy and hard. I thought part of it would be a softer material. I returned the other tools I bought that had handles like this, but kept this one because it really solved a problem for me and I prolly won't be raking rocks for long periods of time, all at once. ... show more
