I had to double up on these due to the thin material. I'm comparing them to the dig defense brand. I was trying to save money by using these but i should have just bought dig defense. If i just use one my pig can get past it.

We only take from vine what we need or use I have several examples of these in my garden that I am using to keep adult rabbits out of it but using these as a barrier where the garden fence has a gap between the ground and the panels. There are a number of different examples and designs of these items. All of them show lawns and keeping dogs off things... Well I have a Westie (as in the photo on the product page at the time of writing this review) and if you were to put these deep enough in the ground to discourage a westie from digging, they would just climb over them... Anyways, for my purpose they work well. A nice touch on these is the two end spikes are slight longer that the middle ones allowing a hand placement before tapping in if necessary with a mallet. That all depends on your soil, and that's the issue here with these, the spike are a little on the thin side. If the two end spikes were thicker/stronger I'd give this five stars. They came well packed, and the issue of paint chipper that plagues a lot of other versions of these was not apparent in the ones I had, and some of that was down to the careful packaging. Again longevity of the item is to be determined. Just remember you'll need a lot of these. I have a 55ft lot so if you need to close all the gaps and stop the pesky rabbits, you need to weigh up the simplicity/look of this design, verses the installing of chicken wire which isn't always easy or attractive.

Recommended if you only need 10 feet of fencing and your goal is to fence out smaller pets (and some pests) or to provide a visible do-not-mow-or-weed-whack-here barrier for over-zealous groundskeepers. The fencing is stout enough to push into the ground without bending (unless the soil is very rocky). Once linked together with the included zip ties, it ought to work as advertised - only a season of use will confirm, but the fencing looks and feels as though it will hold up well. So why four stars instead of five? This product is sold as a 10-pack which equates to roughly 10 feet of coverage. At the time this review, the product is not sold in 20- or 30-packs (or any higher volume) at a discount. There are brands that do sell in larger quantities at lower prices per foot. Perhaps this product vendor will do the same at some future point. Bottom line - 10 feet isn't as long as it may sound - measure the coverage length needed and buy accordingly. Having said that, I'd order this product again if the length to fence was 10 feet or less, because this *is* a quality product.

What I like about this fence is that it is made of steel and is finished with black finish, however, is only meant for small dogs

THis works well as an additional barrier to keep my chickens out of my raised flower beds. It’s only a 10’ total length so a little pricey compared to others however it is currently on sale, and the sale price is more fitting to the product received. Looks great and does the job.

The amount of fencing in one order is not quite as much as I thought it would be, so make sure you measure the area you are trying to use them for well. This set is definitely a good starting point but may not work for individuals with larger dogs/animals.
