4 stars: Assembly: Very easy to assemble. No tools are needed. Size: 5 ft tall, good height for kids and people who can’t reach high. Small footprint- only two feet wide, four feet long, suitable for small or narrow-strip garden or leaning against the wall. Sturdiness and build quality: Materials are not very strong, so it’s probably more suitable for not-so-heavy climbing vegetables. When the frame is pushed on, there is some “give” and bending, though it does return to the original shape. The materials appeared to be plastic-encased metal rods similar to the green kinds you can get and garden supply stores. 4. Setup: The stakes are reasonable easy to be pushed into the ground, especially after the rain, but it’s not easy to push all in at the same time so the trellis tends to be slightly leaning towards one side after it’s installed. You might need to adjust the stakes to make the trellis balanced. Since the stakes can’t go into the ground too deep. We put extra “bamboo” sticks into the ground at four corners and then tied the trellis corner stakes with the “bamboo” sticks to make the trellis more stable. I took one star off for cheaper materials. But it is good for the price.

Easy setup and fit right in to my garden bed. I was concerned that it might be too flimsy, but for the price, it seems to be pretty sturdy even though it’s lightweight. Experimenting with a few cucumber varieties this year and excited to get planting!

Very easy to assemble/disassemble. The trellis is perfect size for climbing plants and very sturdy. I think the price is good for what you get. Save the box to disassemble over the winter.

It's a very sturdy, well built trellis that looks like it will last a very long time. I am pleased with the overall construction. The poles are very sturdy and appear to be made from metal that has been coated with a plastic like material. It is quite stiff, and will securely hold a good amount of weight. The poles that stick into the ground are long enough to hold it in place. The instructions for assembly could have been a bit better, but overall it was easy enough. It came with a picture diagram but it wasn't also clear which parts needed to be assembled first, but it's still pretty straight forward. The pieces all fit together very snuggly, and then there are screws that can be tightened down to lock them in place.

This trellis has much to recommend it. Pros 1. it is a very generously-sized infrastructure. My husband who is 6 feet tall is next to it in the photo, and you can see it is almost as tall as him. 2. It’s a little light which makes it very maneuverable, but I’d push the ends down into the soil to hold the trellis steady. 3. It folds away to almost nothing for storage. 4. It appears to be plastic-coated metal, meaning it will be sturdy, while also not rusting. 5. The U-shaped design means you can have plants climbing the front and back of it, while still having a little space for air circulation or for plants to get a little bushy. Cons 1. Minimal instructions. 2. You have to push the tubes hard into the plastic couplers. This takes a good bit of strength to do properly. My arthritic hands could not do it. Even my husband who is crazy strong said that it took effort. 3. It’s not difficult to put together (apart from the strength thing), but assembly is a little fiddly and takes a minute.
