I did purchase this rubber seal to replace an old one already existing at my garage. The installation was easy, and I made sure I was lubricating the rubber as I was putting it in the rail... Ask somebody to give you a hand, since it's difficult to stretch the rubber as it goes and keeps feeding it in the rail so, sometimes, when you stretch the rubber, the other side was coming out of the rail because I was not holding it so, it's better one person stretches the rubber as it's being inserted then, the other person to make sure it's not coming out from the rail as the rubber gets into the rail. Other than that, it fits perfect, but if you want to save some installation time, grab a buddy and ask him to help with the task :D ... show more

Replaced all the rubber components to seal our garage door. This comes wound up pretty tight so it's flat when you pull it out and install it. I used duct tape to hold the rubber in a non-flat position and kept it on for a couple days. Thr summer heat allowed it to soften and round out. The seal is great! Very pleased! ... show more

Easy to slide into track on bottom of door The only problem is it is packaged rolled flat the opposite way it should be on door So now I am going to have to tape the seal material so that it compresses correctly

Went on super easy after removing bottom plate. Leave a little extra on each end before cutting, rubber will shrink and helps block air from coming in. Old one pulled directly out and this one slid right on. Helpful to have to people to install but just need to take your time. Just install and one side flatten out once door closed the other smashed to one side. Will have to see if this problem continues after using. ... show more
