This is a soft, comfy, lightweight sweater that can be worn in multiple ways. I will probably mostly wear it with jeans, but it would also look nice paired with slacks, a skirt, or over a summer dress. The material is thin but nice. I haven’t noticed any problems with stitching, pilling, or pulls. There was 1 loose thread in the tag, but that isn’t part of the sweater itself. I like the neckline. It makes the sweater feel a little more dressy and looks flattering. The overall fit is flattering, too, and true to size. I wear my clothes on the looser side, so I size up most of the time. The quality is high, in my opinion, and it’s a great value at the current price of $28.90. I’m happy with this sweater and recommend it.

The fabric is soft, not itchy, and has a nice mid-weight feel—perfect for cooler weather without the bulk of a heavy sweater. I love the elegance of the boat neck, and the army green is a refreshing alternative to my usual black or white, while still staying neutral and versatile. That said, I was disappointed with how wrinkled it arrived. The creases were deep enough that they’ll take some effort to remove, which is frustrating and the reason I knocked off a star. Fit-wise, pay attention to the stock photos: this is not a form-fitting sweater. The side slits are cute but make it hard to tuck in for more shape. I’m a smaller person but not truly petite, and the XS just fits—so those smaller than my stats may find it too oversized. Personally, I don’t mind the looser fit; it feels polished yet comfortable, especially for the office where we’re casual but still expected to look put together. Overall, this is a timeless, elevated basic—more classic than trendy—and a solid addition to a wardrobe if you like a relaxed silhouette.

This is a nice weight cotton sweater for the transition of seasons or with layering in the winter. The style has a slight crop to it, but isn't too short (I'm 5'9") - and the sleeves are also nice and long! The color isn't quite as bright red as the stock photos, but is a nice saturated red without being dark. The knit is finely done and allows for it to drape nicely and feel soft on your body. There are side splits in the hem of the sweater so it hangs well over slacks or skirts. This can easily be dressed up or down and has a lot of versatility as a basic in your wardrobe. The price is about right for the quality and what you get.

This is a really nice lightweight sweater for the fall, or in my case, CA winters! I got size Large, and it is a good fit. I weigh 165 pounds, 5ft 4in tall. I wish there was just one more inch of length to it... I would describe it as slightly cropped. If you are thin, it won't matter, but I have a bit of a belly, and I hate it when tops reveal it when I raise my arms. Maybe going a size up would have been better? I really didn't want it to look drab though. I got the sweater in black, which is a nice versatile color to have in your closet. I have always really liked boatneck styles, it is a very flattering cut on anyone. I haven't worn it yet because the weather is still too hot, but I will update my review if needed after it wash it. Overall, I really like this sweater and I do recommend it!

This GAP women's boatneck sweater is absolutely beautiful. It’s a high-quality sweater made of cotton 55% and nylon and polyester. It is so soft and comfortable. Perfect for cools evenings or casual events. It gently drapes over the shoulders and the long sleeves are actually long. Sometime long-sleeved is a little short, but the length of the sleeves and length of the sweater are just perfect. The sweater is a deep, navy blue with white horizontal stripes. This style of sweater will look great on any age woman. It’s made by GAP so you know is a quality sweater. It’s also machine washable. It’s simply beautiful.

This is a cute sweater, but is very lightweight. It’s actually more like a knit top than a sweater. If you hold it up to the light you can see the light through it. It would be great in the spring or fall but not the winter. The small fit me perfectly and did not shrink after washing. I line dried it and it came out with no wrinkles. The photo I took was after washing and drying and you can see there is no wrinkling or pilling. If you’re looking for a lightweight sweater this one is a great choice but if you want a heavier sweater this one won’t fit your needs.
