Love this sweater. The fabric is soft and it’s well-constructed, just as you’d expect from GAP. It’s fairly lightweight and can be worn over a collared shirt as an easy, yet nice look for holiday parties. It’s a fairly standard fit and not too long.

I found that this Gap sweater fits true to size. The material is soft and comfortable. It works well with just a t-shirt under or layered with a coat/jacket over. The convenience of machine washing is nice, however I did notice some pilling after. Give the value (currently$59.95), I hoped for a bit more durability after washing. Overall, it’s a nice sweater for fall and winter.

My husband is a large man, and he tends to stay pretty hot year round. So thick sweaters aren't really his jam. But this sweater is perfect. It's on the thinner side, but not so thin that you can see through it or think that it's low quality, just not hefty like a traditional knit sweater and more in line with what you'd expect from cashmere. The fit is nice. It is attractive on him. We do wish we had gotten a different color other then navy, just to mix it up a little bit ("keep it fresh") but it is still really nice sweater. We will see how it washes, but as a big Gap fan and owning some other CashSoft items, I predict it will wash pretty well under general washing conditions. Like any sweater, it wont look brand new in the wash forever, but it will stay nice and soft. And if I go to the length of actually caring for our clothes properly, it would probably last even longer and look even better.
