I ordered this green Essex crew neck sweatshirt from GAP, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. First off, the color complements my skin tone perfectly—it’s one of those shades that just pops without being too loud. The material feels incredibly soft. I usually don’t get this impressed with online clothing purchases—they’re often just “meh”. Even my partner tried to claim it, and I had to hit him with the classic “get your own” because I save this for when I really want to look and feel amazing. The GAP logo is subtle (thankfully), and the fit is on point—sleeves go just past the wrist, and it hangs slightly below the waist, which is exactly the look I like. The cotton blend fabric is soft and the weight feels ok for spring/fall layering. The ribbed cuffs and hem maintain their shape well after multiple washes. I washed it a couple of times and I found no pilling and no noticeable shrinkage. The color has held up without fading. The interior fleece backing provides decent warmth while remaining breathable. I read it’s a blend of 77% cotton and 23% polyester.
