I bought the "smoke" filter (a little more expensive) and it's great for when a little puff comes out of the wood stove. It's also great for when something burns on the stove. I like that it reads the particle count (and it seems to be accurate) so you know when it's got most of the smoke filtered out. The noise-- this is very quiet on the lowest setting; however, the high setting is pretty loud. We only use the high setting when there's a lot of filtration needed (like, the smoke.) Otherwise I leave it on low (almost silent) or medium (can be heard but not too bad.) I'm Ok with this because when it's on high it's running a LOT of air through it. I would definitely buy again.

This works really good, no complaints. We have multiple dogs and a cat and as long as we clean any fur off the outside and vacuum off the dust off the inside filter once a week, it works really good. Never had an issue and would recommend.

I live in an area affected by active wildfires in California. Air quality is intermittently poor. I'm normally affected by airborne allergens such as dust & pollen. I can usually tolerate my fairly mild symptoms: itchy eyes, rhinitis, sinus congestion.etc. Since the smoke and ozone pollution exacerbated these symptoms, I bought the Ganiza G200S air purifeir in order to create a """"clean"""" room. I have it on sleep mode when I sleep, medium when I'm out but on HIGH on housekeeping day. After first night of use, I woke up with no sinus congestion for first time in years. I'll be using it frequently even after wildfires abate. The unit has 3 fan speeds. The top speed is a bit noisy and I only use it when I'm out of the room or needed. The middle speed is indeed 'whisper quiet'. Some white noise. No sleep disturbance. The lowest speed sounds as if unit isn't on at all. It's recommended to upsize purifiers for frequently occupied spaces so lower fan speeds can be used and still achieve proper purification. Ganiza G200S is a good choice. I highly recommend this well made, high performing, affordable purifier. It meets all requirements of CARB & Energy Star. I'll update review when it comes time to change the HEPA 13 filter.

The media could not be loaded. *Updated to 4 stars: Customer service contacted me and sent me a new one which was awesome of them! Very responsive and so nice to have the purifier working again. Will update again if this one stops working as well. For a month, it was great. Such an improvement to my workspace. I always run on auto and it was great until a little over a month after purchase. Now it either runs at 500 (max and LOUD-see video) or will bounce from 40 and ramp up to 100 and back down and back up, etc etc. it's practically unusable at this point. I've tried to clean it, but new filters, and more and it's just bad. Very frustrating.

So far, I like what I have experienced. It arrived within a day of when originally scheduled to arrive. It was easy to set and get running. I like the simplified controls on the machine - no internet, no phone app, etc. Put on "auto" run and it has so far been quiet; jumped to next level for a short time when I was cooking something in the air fryer but soon dropped back to slow fan. However, it will take some time to determine whether or not it actually reduces the dust level in the house or not. Thus far, it seems like it needs to run faster even though that means it is noisier. If it works, I will buy another for the bedroom area.

I have two cats with two Litter boxes in a fairly large lanai. Boy, the smell was horrid. We changed to different types of litters for a year. Nothing helped. Until a friend suggested an air purifier. I find in life you get what you pay for. Yes this was more expensive than other smaller ones. But over the course of 24 hours, the urine smell and kitty poop smell is GONE ! I leave it on auto every day and it has made a massive difference in my home. Very, very pleased with this air purifier.

I have only been using this product for two days. I put off buying it due to the price but it went on sale so i purchased it. I know now I would still get it at full price!! with in eight hours my air in my house felt crispy and fresh. I have Bath and Body work plug ins and i could smell them so clearly. I usually wake up with a wheeze and today NOTHING!! It is SO light i can pick it up with two fingers, and assembly is a breeze. I wish the one i purchased has the air quality light thing to tell me how much it changed because I would love to see that. My boyfriend moves in next week with his dog so I am just hoping this does the trick to keep that dandruff and dog hair out of the air! GREAT PRODUCT.

I was initially worried about the noise that this device would make but honestly, you do not know it is on until the air quality drops and it kicks into its highest fan speed to clear the air. I have yet to use the sleep mode due to it being a little to no disturbance at all. Also, it does not take up much space. The only issue, which is not on the machine, is locating the replacement filters has been a challenge. When you purchase be sure to include replacement filters as they tend to leave the shelves quickly.
