EDITED: ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I am halfway through my sewing project, and these pieces of "fabric" are just completely falling apart. This stuff is in no way fabric. It is just giant strips of "sateen" ribbon. If you DO choose to buy this, you need to invest in the biggest, giant bottle of Fray-Lock that you can possibly get your hands on. For the first 2 days or so, the fraying was super minimal, and I thought I had a chance getting through the project with it. by day 3, I can't even pick it up without strings upon strings flying off of it. Seriously, if there was a way to just throw everything into a bag and return it, I would definitely take that route. Since it is not, I am stuck using the Fray-Lock on 3 packages worth of this crap. I would give 0 stars if I could. Definitely NOT cotton....simply put, the material is a synthetic blend of some kind. The edges absolutely fray, so be prepared to use some type of serging stitch to lock the edges in. The patterns are also not accurate. There are 20 different example pics, however I only received 11 patterns, and one of them isnt even pictured. The counts of each pattern are also skewed. I purchased 2 "rolls", 6 patterns had 16 strips, 4 patterns had 18 strips, and one pattern had 32 strips. Yes I made sure that it was the same pattern on the same background color. The strips are only 19.25", not the 20.8" that is advertised, and the width of each strip is consistent at 2.5" (thankfully). I am planning on making a quilt, however I am concerned as to how it will hold up to washing. There is a very good chance that there may be shrinkage using the dryer, so use with caution.

Colors are very faded, unlike what is pictured. . . . More beiges than gold. These are 18” strips not WOF, and are a poly blend, not 100% cotton. The prints are vintage looking, with many directional across the strip so ‘up’ is actually sideways. All in all, you get what you pay for. Still I am going to keep this set to make a blue-grey and beige lone star quilt. I am returning the vintage Christmas prints.

TL:DR I got sucked in by the cheap price... and got what I paid for. Would not purchase again. First the Pro: There is a very wide variety of patterns and shades in the packet. If you want a tone on tone type quilt? The variety of shades and print patterns is great! Then the cons: -It's easy to ASSUME that these are 44 inch long and 2 inch wide strips... as the listing photo shows a roll similar to "jelly roll" fabric seen in stores like JoAnns. but they are 20 inch strips, not 44 inch (as you'd get if someone sliced yardage across the grain) The photo I attached was taken with my quilting ruler for scale. That yellow strip? is not folded. That's the full length you see. -The fabric does not come in a roll... but in a stack that is folded back on itself three times. I purchased two of these... and the plastic wrapped purple on the left is the second packet... unopened. -The fabric quality is quite "light weight". I would consider it light even for a mans shirt, as it's almost "sheer". Definitely not what I would consider "sewing weight" or "quilting weight"... but since I bought it for a quilt? I'll make do with adding a liner fabric so that the batting doesn't leave the surface bumpy. Furthermore, that thinness? makes it hard to pick up just ONE layer of it. (I've lifted two layers and started sewing them before I realized I had too many layers under the presser foot!) I'll use these? but...I'm not going to fall for this a second time... and I hope my assessment here can help future purchasers avoid the same mistake I made!

Not the nicest cotton but it worked well for a child's quilt. Enough there to make large baby blankets, almost crib size. Prints are all nice, definitely soft but will be interested to see how washing goes. You get about 4-5 strips per pattern which was really nice.
