I was pleasantly surprised opening this box. The fabric is soft, varied, and easy to work with. The strips are 2 3/4" by 19 3/4". I cut them in half to make a French braided quilt with the pink. The braid is 12" wide. Lovely material and a great price for 100 strips.

I love these Japanese prints and colors. Very pretty, I can't wait to create something with them. 2.5"x19.75" (not 20.8"). The fabric quality is pretty decent for the price (not too thin and not too thick either). I'm thinking maybe I should get another jelly roll.

    • Definitely NOT cotton fabric. Cotton does not MELT when ironed!

I purchased this fabric for my great granddaughter's baby quilt. However, I was ironing the seam allowance open and the fabric melted and wadded up under my iron! This fabric is definitely NOT cotton as it was advertised and should not be listed as such. From the reaction to the heat, I'd guess that it's a rayon/acetate woven that should not be subjected to heat. Pretty prints, but useless for this purpose! I would hate to see how this would have looked after washing and going through a dryer! ... show more

Although the colors are beautiful I wouldn't recommend using this for anything super sentimental. First- IT"S NOT COTTON! many strips of the same print as well as not being a full jelly roll. Apparently, I must've overlooked that part in the description

I bought this to make a jelly roll rug. I didn’t realize that the pieces were only 20 inches long and not the full 40 or 42 that a jelly roll usually comes in. The fabric phrase very easily and has an interesting smell when pressed with a hot iron. There are 2-20 inch strips of each style of fabric shown. I’m not sure if I would buy this fabric again, but it will depend on how my rug turns out. I will update. ... show more
