These are 100% the same rebar used to build buildings. Stake something down with these and it is not coming back up without great effort. I used them because I had to get creative: I was using a tall shepherds hook to hold up a hanging plant that was a bit heavy. So it is a strong hook, with four prongs to hold it in the ground and everything, and a strong pole, my plant was too heavy and I would find it all pulled up and on the ground the next day. I used these stakes to hold the hook’s points in the ground. By the next day the shepherds hook didn’t come even a half inch out of the ground. I bent the pole though. If you need something hooked into the ground that needs to stay there, these are what you want.

I used these to anchor down wood border for rubber mulch around a playground I built in our backyard. I used a drill to drill holes in the wood and hammered these through to the ground to keep the wood borders in place. So far so good, was easy to hammer down and has kept a the borders from moving. I wanted to use something with a rounded top portion vs straight rebar so that nothing could accidentally stick out and be a pointed spear since it was for a playground. These are solid and I would use them again

We needed strong stakes to anchor the ends of a trellis and these were perfect. None of them bent while hammering them into the ground and the trellis hasn’t moved at all, even through several thunderstorms this Spring. Highly recommend.

These were HUGE, and EXTREMELY durable and well made. So worth the price. I bought these to peg down my chicken/parrot coup so it holds up during hurricane season. I'm so glad I bought these! The ones that came with it are like toothpicks and pale in comparison.
