    • Very nice but no attached stand
These cranes are very nice. I even ordered 4 more as a gift. However, most frames have that triangle of hardboard on back which folds out so it can either be hung on a wall or stand on a shelf. These do NOT have that. So it’s either hang up or buy a small easel.

I used this for an 8x10 photo. It looks great. I subtracted a star because It has an insert for positioning the photo, but the insert has a pocket that's larger than 8x10, so the picture would move around in the frame and end up crooked or showing a gap. I had to put tape on the back to hold it in place. ... show more

    • Tip for using this frame...
This is a great frame and it worked perfectly for me. I have seen some reviews where people have said that when the cardboard backing is removed to insert your photo that the backing will not fit back into the frame. This is true if you try to simply lay it into the frame but that's the wrong way to do it. There is a groove cut into the inside of the frame. You need to make sure the backing slides into that groove before trying to push it in. If you do this the cardboard backing will slide in perfectly. Hope that helps! ... show more

This is a solid and very expensive looking frame. Even more beautiful in person in my opinion. I am very happy this is the one I chose after little while of searching for just the right one for a certain photo I had. The double matting on this is really lovely.
