My phone is what I lovingly refer to as a "Zombie Phone." My OG Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra's screen finally bit the dust after 3+ years. At the time, it was cheaper to buy a refurbished one than it was a screen for it. I purchased what I thought was a refurbished one on here, but I think I got scammed because it was never as good as my OG. On top of that, the screen on that one barely lasted me 6 months. Now, there were cheaper screens available, so I went that route, but my phone stopped working all of the sudden. It wasn't the new screen, this time it was the motherboard. Since I still had my old phone, I decided to put the new screen on that one and it worked just fine, except for the battery. It wasn't holding a charge and it was starting to get puffy, which is never a good sign. So I decided to get a new battery and after reading reviews, I decided to get this one and I am glad I did. It arrived with 59% charge, taking minimal time to get to full charge with a quick-charger. So far I have had no problem with it dying super fast like I did with my old one. It's no where near what the OG battery that came with the phone was, but it will do. Especially for the price! Plus it comes with all the tools you need to install it. Which is pretty easy to do, btw, as long as you watch a YouTube tutorial on it first. Honestly, if you need a new battery for your Galaxy S21 Ultra, you won't be disappointed in this one. ... show more

    • A Complete Kit and a Good Battery
Much cheaper than buying a new phone, and the newer android software actually removes some features. If you're even slightly handy, this is a fairly easy process. This kit came with tools to remove the phone's backing plate, unscrew the thing covering the battery and pry up the battery. It also includes an adhesive strip to keep the new battery in place and a tube of the glue to reseal the backing. The excess glue was easily removed after drying with a cloth and some isopropyl alcohol. The phone starts right up now. (Time will tell how long the battery lasts. If it shows signs of a short life, I'll be back to update.) Here's a tip: wrap your phone in an ordinary heating pad, turn it on medium high and leave it for an hour. That'll warm up the glue holding the shell together and you'll easily be able to slide the thin plastic card in the crack and separate the back from the phone. Use the suction cup on the back as a handle. Better watch a video about this process if you've never done it before. It's not difficult, but you'll want to be prepared. ... show more

    • Decent Kit worth the money
Reasonably priced upgrade for my phone battery. Though considering my phone's original battery has been quite abused, any new battery would be considered an upgrade. This isn't for the faint of heart though as in order to get effective use of this I recommend some experience in taking apart some old smartphones as even though this kit comes with a lot, it doesn't come with a cheap deck of cards (which oddly enough I find more useful to pry off the back of a smartphone-the flexibility of a playing card is awesome to be able to slide in-between the back of the phone and the phone itself without damaging components.) So basically I'm saying be prepared and have "your wits about you." All of that being said as long as you look up enough videos this kit will definitely work for you. For most things of this caliber(and beyond) I recommend a hot-air soldering station as well but I digress. I'm pretty hesitant to give a full-review of this as personally I'd like to do some more testing before I give all of my thoughts away as far as this kit goes (like actual basic use battery drain data for comparison) but so far so good. The tools themselves work for the price-point so no issues there. One IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE please, please please charge it fully before first use- in order to get the most out of your new battery. Lithium batteries will NOT give you "their best" if you don't FIRST give them "your best first charge". Which means you will basically shorten the life of your new battery PERMANENTLY if you don't give it a full 100% first charge. In approximately 1 week I will do my best to update this review with some more specs and proper pictures so everyone can get a better feel for the true battery quality/durability and fit of the battery. I replaced the battery in my Galaxy S20 Ultra with this upgraded one and it made a big difference. I was only getting about 2 hours of continuous use before needing a charger, which made it tough to get anything done. With this new battery, I’m getting around 5 hours of heavy use, and that’s while using GPS and downloading large files for work at the same time, all without being plugged in. If I’m not using the phone much, it can easily last over 24 hours, which is a big step up from where I was. It doesn’t seem to charge quite as fast as the original, but it still works just fine. For me, the extra battery life is totally worth it. Removing the old battery was a bit difficult and took some patience, but it eventually came free. The included tools made the rest of the installation manageable, and so far, the battery seems solid and reliable. If your S20 Ultra is struggling to hold a charge, this is a great fix. ... show more
