The Gaiam Sport Running Gloves are lightweight, washable, polyester, slightly lined for warmth, fitted but allow for agility, moderately touchscreen compatible with my phone, and have wrist-flap pockets large enough for chapstick and keys. I wear 7-inch in length (wrist to middle fingertip) and 7-inches wrapped (or 3 1/2 inches, one side) in width. So I ordered the small/medium for women. They fit perfectly, like a "glove." Y-e-a-h. I know. I had to. But they do. They're good-quality gloves with mild cold weather protection for less than $15. I do wish the interaction with my phone screen was more reliable, instead of every other swipe and type. But the textured speckling along the palms does make my grip more secure. ... show more

Very happy with these gloves so far - I've worn them on a few chilly morning walks and my fingers have stayed warm and dry. The grippy pads on the palms and fingers help prevent me from dropping my phone, and the fabric on the fingertips is definitely touch-screen compatible. The fit of the gloves is good, not too bulky, and the hidden key pocket would be great if my keychain wasn't quite so full of keys and retail toggles! Not sure how warm these would be in below-freezing temps, but definitely great for chilly fall & spring walks or runs. ... show more

I had to come back and give these 5 Stars. They are lightweight, but running in the mid 20 degree temps, these gloves are perfect. Now, if you are walking, that might be a different experience, but for running, these are excellent at the below freezing temps. I use these gloves every week and for every run right now. 01/30/2022 ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW I received these gloves through the Amazon Vine Voice program. I requested these in the Large/XL size, and the fit is comfortable. They aren't snug, but they aren't too big either. My palm width is 8 inches in diameter. My middle finger to base of hand is roughly 7 inches. That said, I have tried this same brand in a small/medium size and that was waaay too small. I like the gloves, and I do feel they will be fine for those cold weather runs. I reside in a region with four seasons including snow so I think even those cooler 20's range temperatures will be fine with these. The grip palm is a nice feature plus the glove keeper hooks to prevent losing a glove. Overall, I would recommend these for value and quality. ... show more

I like these Gaiam Running Gloves, but I'm not certain I would label them for winter use. I guess it all depends on how cold your winters are! The material is totally adequate but thin. I've used similar gloves for a marathon in rainy, 40 degree weather, and these seem appropriate for that. Below freezing, I would need warmer gloves. The fit is a bit odd, with long fingers and a thinner palm. BUT... you'd be surprised how easy it is to lose running gloves. Make sure you have extra pairs around. These gloves are comfortable and perfect for cool weather running. The backs of the fingers are a little thicker fabric to keep the fingers warm in cooler weather. The palms are stretchy enough that I can add a hand warmer to these for temperatures below 30. These have a grippy fabric on the inside of the hands which helps when I need to use my phone but don't want to take my hands out of the gloves. There is also a fabric on the fingers I can use on my touch screen. While these work for cool weather running, I'll need to wear them under my running mitts for temperatures below 20°F and then pull the mitts off once I warm up. Overall, there isn't anything I don't like about these gloves as there are a lot of little features, like a built in pocket for keys, that help them stand out from other running gloves I've used. ... show more

Nice gloves. I ordered the L/XL size. My hand measures 8 inches around and that was fine. My biggest issue for my hands is that my fingers are usually too long (seriously, I recently had to get a men's golf glove because the L sized women's glove was comically too small). These fit really well and the touch screen bits work well. The little pockets in each glove is nice also. You could fit a credit card or ID in them in addition to a key. There is a buckle to keep the gloves together so they don't get lost. ... show more
