- Gaia Oliva Premium Memecik is a high-quality olive oil made from Memecik olives grown in a single garden of 80,000 trees. The olives are harvested early in the season, mainly in October and early November, while they are still green. They are then processed using MoriTem technology within 2-4 hours of harvest to preserve the phenolic components, and filtered after resting for one night. This process helps acidification, resulting in a smooth, clean taste.

Best premium extra virgin olive oil that I've ever tried. Tastes just as fresh as its smells. Intensely fresh, sharp aroma. Great for drizzling, dipping and just noticed it is also award-winning. Love it and highly recommended. Also comes in a very protective packaging, do not hesitate to buy.

Oil is all wrong - light and mild instead of being strong and punchy. Tastes like cheap junk.
I bought this olive oil which is described as: GAIA Oliva Memecik, Early Harvest EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) with High Polyphenol Content. This is supposed to be a strong olive oil with a peppery and pungent bitterness that one must feel in the back of the mouth as an aftertaste. That is the hallmark of a high polyphenol oil. Instead I received a light oil with no punch. Either the oil in the bottle is wrong or their description of the oil is all wrong. I wrote them an email with this exact complaint but no response from them.
