- Gaia Oliva Premium Ayvalik is produced using Ayvalik olives, grown in a single garden of 80.000 olive trees, and with a "good agriculture" certificate in the Aegean. We collect our olives in the early harvest period, mainly in October and early November, when they are still completely green.
- We process them after 2-4 hours with MoriTem technology, in order to preserve the phenolic components to the highest levels possible. After resting for one night, we filter the obtained oil and transfer it to the tanks. Thanks to this process in our olive oil, giving you a smooth clean taste.
- Dark Bottle : Storing olive oil in clear glass or plastic bottles ensures rapid degradation of polyphenols and antioxidants. Our UV protected black bottles provide you with the freshest flavor by protecting the oil from AIR, LIGHT, MOISTURE and HEAT. we transfer the entire crop of that year to our dark bottles, after a short rest period to provide the highest level of protection.

Ahh it’s ok not all the stuff the free product review people give it I would use it but not for taking by tablespoon for healthy stomachs flavor is one of a kind I guess but sure don’t think I will buy again maybe it will get used before going rancid maybe not

What a cute bottle that came to me all safe and snug. This Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Early Harvest Cold Pressed is a bit on the pricey side for a 16.9 ounce bottle. But sometimes you pay a bit more for quality. Made from early harvest olives, the olive oil is then put into dark bottles to protect its beneficial properties of polyphenols, antioxidants, and keep its low acid content. Great for drizzling on veggies or to make salad dressings. This is not a light sautéing oil. You want to taste its flavor. I make homemade salad dressings quite frequently and this is great for that.

Admittedly I don't splurge very often on olive oil. I do cook with and use it but generally go with a smaller bottle a step up in price/quality from the low end store brands. I was very intrigued and intrested in experiencing what early harvest cold pressed olive oil was all about after reading over how the hand crafted Gaia Oliva is made. I was equally impressed with the way it arrived as I was with the quality of the oil and beautiful bottle itself. Extreme care is given to making sure it arrives intact. The bottle is completely protected inside an air pillow to avoid and prevent any possibility of breaking. I've been expanding my range of uses because I simply love the taste. While I've used it sauteing fresh vegatables, I've more freuqently grabbed for it to add over salads, pasta especially with some fresh grated cheese, and drizzed on or in a dipping bowl for crusty garlic bread. I even made homemade pizza and brushed some on the crust it turned out amazing. The oil has it's own distinctive flavor profile in comparison to the more bland olive oils you would buy in stores so it really enhances what you pour it on. I love the spout especially it lets me dispense what I need and not worry as much about accidently having more come out than I want.

Firstly, the packaging it arrived in is so well thought out!! That's something I really appreciate from this brand, because it is highly unlikely you'd end up with a broken glass bottle from them. It has a pillowy wrapping around the bottle which keeps everything safe and secure when it's delivered to you. This oil is an early harvest and comes in a dark bottle to help preserve it's quality. I do enjoy the flavor it has and I feel like it does well once you use it on dishes that you want to notice the flavor a little more on. Does well for my salads as a topping too. Overall, it's in such great shape and isn't too pricey for me as good quality olive oil usually has this price tag. It's a perfect option for an early harvest oil in my opinion.

This is an olive oil that I feel is best suited to consume as a dressing or dip to get the most enjoyment from the flavor! It's a light yellowish-green color, the flavor is fresh and greenish tasting with notes of pepper, and the fruitness of olives quite prevalent. This oil is amazing when warmed with seasonings as a dip for breads, and makes for a great base as a salad dressing. This bottle arrived very well cushioned and inside of a sturdy box, in perfect condition and well sealed. I'm very impressed with the quality of this oil, and feel that this kind is worth the splurge for an oil to be used for the fresh flavor as toppings, dips, or dressings. This is far above the quality of most of the oils from BigBox stores, and the taste is distinctly flavorful and delectable.
