Whoever says this hat doesn’t fit a bigger head must have a big head. I have a smaller/average head and mine is on the tightest but there is plenty of room to fit many different head sizes. I love this hat. It fits my head well and I love that the bill is already curved and the hat can fold up. I got the black and it wasn’t too hot in the sun. The only downfall is I wish there was a slot to tuck the extra part of the strap into the hat. My head is smaller so I’ll just have to cut it. Not a deal breaker though. The brim has boning for easy folding ( comes with cute little pouch hat fits in). Doesn't seem much cooler than any other hat. I'm keeping it, as the gray is so neutral and adjusts to my small head and is low profile. Haven't had a chance to wet it, just to see if it is any cooler, but curious. Today is 110°. At first it looked so strange when I took it out of the package. The bill is different, but once I put it on and felt how lightweight it is for summer, and it fit so great, I was sold. It will be so nice for packing for trips. I really like this hat, and I bought it in light gray.

The colors do not fade or run at all and keeps my eyes protected while swimming. Yes, I swim with it on and get my head wet as I am always going under the water. It keeps the glare out of my eyes. Great hat!

This hat folds and fits in cargo pockets on pants. Therefore, in my case no more lost hats because I left them at the restaurant. I wear a 7.5 hat might not fit men with big heads
