I am very happy with this umbrella. I chose a larger canopy size and it is a very nice and large size. The color is very cute. It has reflective strips and a double layer for the wind to escape. It opens up with a push of a button and closes with another push, just the handle needs to be collapsed by hand. But when getting into a car quickly from the rain, the button operated closure makes it so much quicker and easier. Also the umbrella closes inside out, so if putting the umbrella into the footwell of the passenger seat, the rainwater doesn’t get on the seat or the console. And it has a carrying bag, so if it threatens to rain, I just bring it with me hangin on my shoulder. It is very well made, materials are sturdy and nice to the touch. Handle is smooth. Pictures really are not doing it justice.

Wasn’t paying attention to the size and thought I ordered a 72 in umbrella, but this one still is huge! And it’s very sturdy and very easy to open. The only the I don’t like is that you Have to use the button to pull it up or drop it down, so I’m worried about how to use it in the event the button stops working. But it a very good and sturdy umbrella.

There are so many options when it comes to umbrellas. I decided to give this one a try. I will say it’s excellent. Very large canopy and is strong. I live in area that has a lot of strong rain and wind. Very happy with this purchase.

Just used for the first time. It’s broken! Do not buy. Took it from my compactment in the door. The push bar opened on its own. Luckily it missed breaking my drivers side window! Then it will not close down to the condensed closed size.so I at least try to open it out of the car. It does not stay open without holding it up by hand. So I close it and it still will not collapse down! Waste of money! Great size if it worked! Too late to return! Such a rip off! I want a refund!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Wanted and inverted umbrella so that upholstery in car does not get wet and also when entering buildings not to wet business premises. While the umbrella allows easy open and close - press of button. It requires quite a bit of strength to close the extended stem of the umbrella after pressing the button. This is the only down side. Cant see elderly people using on their own.

First, this umbrella truly is large and compact. I love that it opens and closes with a button. You still have to push down to tuck the "arm" I got the PINK color. I wanted an umbrella I could find. I love that it also have reflective stripe on the edge. Excellent quality.

I put this in the side pocket of my golf bag as soon as it arrived, but hadn't had the opportunity to test it until this morning. I typically don't golf when I know it's going to rain for any length of time. But today I knew a fast moving shower was heading in. It started raining and I pulled this out to try it in real world conditions. It rained moderately for about a half hour and it was fairly breezy ( maybe about 15 mph). It held up to the wind just fine and did it's job. It's not as large as a typical golf umbrella but I knew that when I bought it. I chose it because of it's compact folded size not needing much room in my bag. And since I rarely need an umbrella while golfing I was willing to give up a little size for packability. I stayed dry and was able to keep playing. That's all I need.

HUUUGE. This thing is not for NYers on narrow streets, unless you want side eye for hogging the sidewalk. Fortunately, I moved from NYC to the rural life and I have room to spare. Not getting a drop of rain on me with this thing. It is a stiff mechanism to close, but hoping that will ease up with use. I like that it does a good job of closing without getting water in the car as I close while climbing into the car. The cover is a bit tight to put on when the umbrella is wet, but I see myself just using that to make easier to carry when dragging along to the beach or on a trip. I did not test out the reflector strips, but they are visible and sure they work great if walking through a parking lot at night. Overall, this is a pretty awesome umbrella. Just maybe get the smaller version if you live in a place with normal sized sidewalks or lots of people.
