This mini travel umbrella is officially the smallest and most compact umbrella I have ever owned. When folded down, it shrinks to a mere 8.3 inches, making it incredibly easy to toss into a school backpack, a commuter bag, or even a small purse without taking up much space or adding noticeble weight. Despite its tiny folded size, it opens up to a surprisingly wide 46-inch canopy that easily covers you and keeps you dry. The innovative 3.7-inch retractable telescopic handle is smooth to extend and provides a comfortable, sturdy grip when in use. I am also very impressed by the quality of the canopy; the titanium silver coating fabric provides excellent UPF 50+ sun protection on hot days, and the 190T high-density waterproof pongee fabric sheds rainwater instantly with just a quick shake. I am a sucker for a small umbrella. This one is definitely small. It is made of a different sort of material than most umbrellas. The listing says 190T waterproof pongee. It does definitely have a smell to it, and I hope that it dissipates as time goes on. At first glance it almost looks like the outer and inner sides are different fabrics but they are not. I got the one with the sky lining color. I think having the blue sky and clouds looks really neat. This umbrella has a fairly shallow crown which is probably due to the size it folds up into. I had only a tiny bit of trouble getting it open the very first time and after I figured it out, no issues at all. It folds up to a really short, albeit a bit big around case. You really do have to work at getting it wrapped up into the velcro closure band and I think if I was raining really hard, I'd have gotten a bit wetter while tying it up. And you do need to get that band on and closed in order to fit the entire umbrella into the case. It seems like a sturdy well built umbrella and I look forward to using it when it rains to stay dry. I could also use it for the sun, but that's not my style. It's perhaps a bit pricey but having once purchased a mini umbrella and paid more than double then what this goes for, I'm not complaining. All in all, it's a great little mini umbrella to have on hand and this one will stay in the car for emergencies.

This little umbrella has some good points, and some bad ones. The good: I quite like the sky pattern that's inside the umbrella! It really brightened up an otherwise gloomy day. The umbrella was big enough for me without making me have to scrunch up to keep from getting outside the canopy area. The size of it folded down is *perfect*. I carry a mini backpack and every other umbrella I've had has been too big even for the side pockets. I was able to just throw this in the bag and go! I also don't feel like the umbrella handle is goinf to shoot out and smack me in the face. I don't know what I did to anger umbrellas as a whole, but there have been tooooo many attempts to punch me in the face with their handles. The bad: It took a bit of fiddling to figure out how to get the darn thing open. There's what *looks* like a button on the end of the handle, but it's a ruse. When I figured it out (though apparently I'm only supposed to click the orange button when *closing* it. Oops...), it almost immediately got caught by the wind and flipped halfway inside out. I was able to fix it, but I'm not super confident on it's longevity when a breeze threatens to flip it. The handle itself is comfortable to hold, but the materials don't feel super sturdy. The very bottom also came unscrewed almost immediately?? Tl:dr- easy to pack, annoying to open, pretty design, cheap feeling materials, but it kept me dry in a light shower. I feel like the $23.99 price tag is a bit steep for the quality, but the form factor is definitely a plus.

It's honestly a good buy for that low of a price, and mini umbrellas can get surprisingly expensive. I have complaints really outside I'm just too big for most mini umbrellas, haha. The quality is quite sturdy, maybe not the strongest, but I've never seen a mini umbrella be particularly strong. The material is thicker, reflective which is good for reflecting sun as well as rain. Helping you cool down with mobile shade. Also, a little big more heavy than the typical travel umbrella(which is perfectly fine), which helps with fighting stronger winds on stormy days. The button function is the more modern style of push button to unlock the umbrella slide, and the handle itself pops in and out for extra portability and convenience which is especially handy since I don't tend to travel with much anyway. If you have the chance to order one, please do so! It's cost effective, and is better than those so called, "cheapy," ones at big box stores in quality too.

The best thing about this umbrella is how compact it is. It fits easily into a backpack, laptop bag, or even a larger jacket pocket, which means you're much more likely to actually have it when you need it. The canopy size is decent considering how small it folds down. The tradeoff is durability in stronger wind. It's fine for normal rain, but the lightweight design doesn't inspire confidence during heavy storms. For everyday travel use, though, it's practical and convenient.

For a travel umbrella, this is great. It’s lightweight, compact, feels sturdy, and has its own bag to stuff into. It seems a bit flat on top when open, but I think it would still function fine (I took mine out for a walk on a sunny but slightly windy day- kept me cooler and no issues with the wind). For frequent use though, it’s got a few issues. The handle is rather short- I’m on the shorter side, but my head was practically brushing the tines unless I held it up at my shoulder level (which gets tiring fairly quickly on a long walk). It also doesn’t “click” in when pushed in, so a good jostle pulls the handle back out (so no storing it on your wrist when closed unless you want to deal with that). Overall, I think it’s a great space saving addition for travel (as it’s advertised to be), but I’d recommend something else for frequent use.

This UV sheilding umbrella packs a lot of punch! This is probably the first umbrella I have owned that folds down small enough to actually fit into a purse or into a space for a thermos. Despite its compact size, it still folds out to over 40 inches! The top portion of the fabric is silver, intended to sheild you from both the sun and the rain, while the underside has the color. I chose a light purple and I think it's amazing! This umbrella would be great for travel in the summer months so you don't get burned, but where I live we get a lot of rain so I will be using it all year! Reasonably priced and easy to operate, this product is a no-brainer. Overall I am loving it so far, and I would buy it again!

Love the pink and silver combo! I took a picture of it folded up, the silver outside looks great and the pink inside adds a nice pop of color. It opens easily, folds back down without a fight, and fits nicely in my tote bag. Definitely recommend if you need a simple, stylish umbrella.
