I have now purchased several clothing items (pants, shorts, jacket) from this brand and love them all. The material on this jacket is a nice light and very stretchy fabric. It's that shiny, sweat-resistent type. I did go by the Size Guide and the jacket fits great without riding up my hips. Even so, I could easily have gone down 1-2 sizes. I'm short with very wide hips. So if you want it to be long enough to cover your bum, use the Size Guide or go down a size. If you want it to just hit around your waist, you could definitely consider going down a couple of sizes. The sleeves are also very long, which is great, but also made the jacket look slightly sloppy on me in the size I purchased. One size down would've been perfect! Color choices are fabulous! The rose is a bright vivid pink and washed well in washer/dryer. If these were more reasonably priced (say $14-$15), I'd consider buying several more colors!

Pros: Nice fit but size up if you don't want it too fitted. I am a 34DDD, 34 inch waist, 43-44 inch hip and the XL fits in the body just loose enough to wear over a thinner tee. The arms are a bit long but that's fine and expected since I'm quite short. I normally wear a L top, occasionally M, occasionally XL, but decided I wanted an XL since I wanted it to fit over a T-shirt. I didn't zip it up over the T-shirt while wearing it since it was warm out and I just needed it for sun protection on my arms, neck, and ears. I love the hood - it's a long hood so it does a good job covering your face and the ponytails hole is awesome. On to the Con: It is hot to wear in the sun. It was only 68 degrees F when I wore it walking around Washington DC on a field trip and I was almost miserable without a breeze. I'm hesitant to consider wearing it when I'm fishing on a boat in 90+ degree sun weather.

The G Gradual Women's Sun Protection Jacket is now one of my favorite UV protective items, and I have quite a few! I find zippered jackets preferable to pulling things over my hair all day! This jacket slips easily on and off and even has a very handy pony opening on the center back of the head! That dos nicely to avoid an awkward shape when you hair is up and your’re using the generous, effective hood to shade your eyes. The fabric is an almost but not quite easy like polyester weave that is light and airy. There are thumb holes! The two pockets are large enough for phone/keys/essentials and zip closed to keep everything secure. In these thin UV fabrics you have to check the stitching and seams. I’m happy to report that this jacket is well made and seems like it will last! As of my review this jacket is $24.99, a very fair price for a UV protective jacket that is well made and has all of the best features! In a beach town I prefer to be prepared at all times and this jacket does a wonderful job of protecting me from harsh rays and light breezes; I recommend!!

For the concept of having a the back of the hood be open to expose your hair (in particular for me, my long hair), I rate this as cute and comfortable. I have baseball caps that have the criss-cross design or open hole in the back so that I can put my hair through it to make the look cuter, so this was an interesting "hoodie" to try. It is lightweight, and I like the fit (not baggy), and just the right length (not too short). I like the seafoam blue color I chose. I love that it has a zipper, as I find zippered tops sexy to be able to choose the amount of exposure by how low or high I zipper it. It washed and dried well, and I like that it dries quickly. It can look a little odd to those that have not seen this new style of top, but as somebody who loves showing my hair to enhance my femininity, I like this option, and it does what it is supposed to do. It also keeps me cooler.

Very comfortable to use, and it feels super light. Great for working out or wearing a light jacket. IT keeps you cool and warm if needed, is very breathable and I enjoy the fit; the color is a nice black. This jacket is very good quality and the price is decent.

The G Gradual Women's Sun Protection Shirt SPF 50+ fits true to size. I'm short-waisted and the jacket length goes a little lower than it will on those blessed with a longer torso but it works for all of us. The fabric is on the thinner side and quite breathable. I found no loose threads or open seams. The zipper pockets lie flat conveniently in the princess seams and are substantial in size; there is an additional inner pocket for items needing added security. The hood is meant to protect the neck and cool the head but remain loose (not coming in tightly around the face). I chose the jacket in the rose color. It's a beautiful mid-pink, with the color fully saturated throughout the fabric. The jacket is available in a myriad of colors so you can pick the one (or more!) that shirt your fancy. Highly recommended

This jacket is lightweight and cool, while offering protection from the sun. It is much easier to grab this jacket than apply sunscreen. The ponytail hole is large enough even if you have really thick hair. The thumbs holes keep the sleeves in place, and the sleeves are not too short, even though this jacket is XS. There are two zippered pockets on the outside and two large interior pockets that will hold even the largest phone. The main zipper has a flap to prevent the zipper from coming down by itself. The sizing is accurate, if anything runs a bit large, as the shoulder seams are a bit wider than my shoulders. This is a must have if you spend a lot of time outdoors but don't want to spend a lot of time at the dermatologist!
