I received this bag today, and immediately noticed it was much darker than the item photo. I ordered the Navy Blue and it appeared to be a dark gray with blue handles and seams in the photo. (Possibly they just over-exposed the photo with too much flash). The one I received is a true, really dark Navy color. Not a major deal, but a more accurate photo would have been nice. Other than the color, the bag seems to be well made and the zipper works smoothly in both directions. The snaps on the outer pockets function well and the snap is solid w/o being overly difficult to open. The floor of the bag is somewhat flimsy with very little support. If you have a reasonably heavy object in the middle of the bag the bottom will definitely bow outward some. Just watch the placement of the items when you fill the bag. The bag is nice an small. Perfect I'd you don't need to carry a whole bunch of stuff. The zipper though is crap. You will close the zipper then look down and wonder why it is zippered on the ends but open in the middle. My zipper started opening up the 2nd week I had the bag. So, if you don't need for it to be zippered closed, this bag will work for you. If you need it to be zippered closed, this might not be the bag for you . ... show more

A very nice little bag for the price. It is quite well-made and solidly built.The zipper has a very good feel to it and it not at flimsy and closes quite well. The color is actually closer to a navy (at least the one I received), but that is not an issue for me in the least. There are two external side pockets with brass snaps, one each with with 2 snaps. It was hard to see in the pictures of the bag, but if you see the outside pocket of the bag in the image, there is another one just like on the other side. There are two inside pocket areas, with one divided into small holes like loops for holding tools on one, and on the other internal side of the bag is another two-pocket space. On mine I needed to have one outside pocket be a bit longer (each outside is divided into two smaller pockets covered by the one cover on each side, so I removed the stitching from that side and have the length I need for my voltmeter and cables. Note that doing so does also remove the stitching that divides the internal dual-pocket and converts it to one pocket as well, which for me worked best anyway. The bag is a good size for my home electrical tools (lineman pliers, outlet testers, etc.). Seems to be of good construction, although the zipper can be a little fiddly to open sometimes, not sure why. One other thing I noticed is that the navy blue bag (what I ordered) did not arrive looking anything like the picture in the listing. Mine is completely navy blue, no grey fabric. Does this affect the function of the bag? No. Do I really care that much. Nope. Just pointing this out. ... show more

I love it! It works as I expected as it holds my junk and when I zip it closed, it held my junk still. I needed a small bag to hold some electronic tools I use but was tired of going to multiple places to grab before. They all fit perfect in the bag. I never noticed that there was pockets on the side (2 each side) and are the perfect size to hold battery packs and spare batteries. I have only had this bag for 6 days as of this review, but it is an excellent little bag at a great price. I use it, more or less, as a purse; I carry my mechanic gloves, my pipe and tobacco, a few tools, my medication, other sundries. I needed something heavy duty, though, as I bring my stuff with me to jobs which include landscaping, infrastructure construction, commercial and residential renovation and demolition, and other similar work sites.
