The fabric is more like a microfiber, but that pile is a little higher in the pile does have a grain direction so it does show fingerprints like a velvet. It does have a little bit of a sheen, but not a tacky one. It is not lined and there is A pretty tall him at the top but because it's the slide on pole type, it's not very high in that part. It's very slinky fabric, not very much stiffness to it. The fabric is probably one of the prettier ones that I've seen from Amazon because of the slight sheen, but the color wasn't right for me. It's a dark green, but it's not that dark. It's a straight forward, hunter, green, more on the warmer side not too cold. I also prefer it to be lined and have tabs in the back, but it's lacking that, and no buckram either.

I love these curtains in my bedroom! When the sun is out, they block out the harsh light while still giving the room an overall gold glow. Exactly what I was looking for. Keep in mind these are very gold--not mustard, not yellow, but gold. The velvet isn't the most luxurious thing in the world but it's great for my needs. Also, they are the same color on both sides, which means people who see my windows from the outside don't see cheap white backing. I'm going to buy these for two other rooms.

I love these curtains! I got the dark green. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It made my boys hangout look a little more sophisticated. They aren’t totally blackout curtains but really close! Definitely room darkening. They have like a reddish color when the light shines through. It gives the room a mysterious vibe. Really happy with these curtains. I’m coming up with ideas for more of these curtains throughout the house.

The quality of these curtains is great for the price point, but they definitely are not blackout curtains. They are unlined, medium-weight velour fabric that feels nice to the touch, but they block only about 50% of the light from our big picture window. I won’t be returning because I do like how they look, but I will need to install a second curtain rack behind them to hang true blackout curtains.

I wanted the perfect shade of olive green for my sons nursery and this shade matched the images very closely! I was so pleased! From the moment I pulled out the curtains I was pleasantly surprised by the luxe texture! It was perfect! I almost bought the shorter curtains by accident so definitely make sure you measure and know what length you need. They were slightly wrinkled from being packaged and I briefly attempted to steam them but it hasn’t worked out the best. I am going to try again later on. For now I am very happy with the results! They do a GREAT job at blocking out the sunlight too! Will come in so handy for when baby arrives!
