I bought this 1950's pink satin (polyester) jacket to complete a costume for a 1950's dance that is coming up. It will be perfect fort that event. The quality is great for the price. It is comfortable, silky, nice color, and the cuffs and waist are comfortable. The material is thin and not meant to wear for cold weather, however it is not see through. The zipper is quite delicate and I suggest not being rough when putting the jacket on or taking it off (zipping and unzipping). The washing instructions say hand wash or professional wash. No drying instructions are provided. Sizing: I am 5'7" tall, 123lb, and have a 37"-38" bustline, waist 28". Given those measurements, my size fell between medium or large. I sized UP because some reviewers' commented about the arm length being too short for the size they purchased. The large fits me well in arm length, and chest circumference. The length will come down to my hip (where leg bends) if I pull it down, but it can be pulled up to rest above the hips, as shown in the photo. Sleeves can be pushed up if desired to wear that way. Scarf: it is adequate. The polka dots are "cute" and add a bit of pizzaz to the ensemble. I am 69 and being conservative in a full skirt, bobby socks, and loafers - however, I think this jacket would look great with black leggings, or really, really tight black pants or a pencil skirt. Pink Ladies Power! This is a relatively well-made jacket for the price. It’s polyester and unlined, but the zipper works well and the seams are straight. The polka dot scarf is not full-sized, just about 4 inches wide, but it works well for a neckerchief or as a hair bow.

Whenever you buy something on Amazon for like let's say a Halloween costume or whatnot, you really don't know what to expect, and often times the quality is equal to your low expectations or possibly even a disappoinment. But this jacket EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS by a ton. Not cheap material. Has some weight to it. Zipper was great quality. And over all worth more than what I paid for it. This is a very light weight jacket so if you're going outside, you'll need to have layers on. The color is the same as advertised. The only downsize is the bottom of the jacket isn't a tight fit. It is loose but otherwise worth the money.
