The curtain does insulate a little. The fabric and pattern are very nice. I have a roll down solid vinyl blind behind it and still get some light through.

I would not usually buy curtains online especially from Amazon but I took a chance and I could not be happier! These are beautiful! They let some light In while also giving privacy. They are beautiful and I hung them right up without having to iron them or wash them. Highly reccomend!

I purchased these curtains to hang in the large window in my dining room, which was formerly a breezeway. The room has very little temperature control and gets extremely warm (HOT!) in the summer and has abundant sunshine. These curtains do a great job at blocking the direct sunlight/heat while allowing light to come through so turning on the light in the room isn't necessary during daytime/evening. ... show more

I love these curtains! I needed something in my business office that reduced the glare from the window behind me during virtual meetings. These are perfect!
